I am witty, different, and cynical.
My Self-Summary
This summary has been the same since I joined, so I thought it
needed a bit of a face lift (being old and all).
I am a curious person by nature in both senses of the word. I love
to learn and people find me slightly, well different (odd). I have
a terminal case of gallows humor for which there is simply NO
cure.
I am very much the type to be one the guys. It is true in my
professional life as well as my personal life.
What I’m doing with my life
I work for a living like a mostly normal adult, but at night, I
become the world's least known superhero who moves EVERYTHING 1mm
to the left -- I don't wear a cape though since it just seems to
get in the way and is yet another thing to put in the laundry.
I’m really good at
Defying expectations. I don't look like what I am supposed to look
like (and possibly what you hope I would look like). I work in a
profession that has almost nothing to do with my academic
interests.
I excel at being an unconventional geek.
I try to be funny a good deal but with limited success. Any
complaints, please send a politely worded note to our writing
staff. They are a good lot.
The first things people usually notice about me
Hmm...my eyes. Other notables are that I always dress in black (I
am in mourning for the intellect of mankind (hand to forehead),
have really long hair (given the popularity of extensions these
days, I should probably note here that this long hair is indeed
mine!). I have a very caustic, twisted sense of humor that is
normally obvious from the beginning of any interaction with me.

Lately more of a penchant for hard industrial, power electronics

cooking shows! also LOVE documentaries about mundane things, like
hot dogs and construction paper.
Foodwise, well, there isn't enough time or space to rant on as I
would like.
The six things I could never do without
1. My laptop 2. My cat 3. Shower 4. Black Stompy Boots/shoes 5. My
rings 6. A Bottle of Evian
and here is an unofficial 7. A sense of humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The measly processor in my brain is severely overclocked. It is ON
110% of the time and probably needs a rest. It also needs to be
rebooted every so often.
My real brain was lost in a zombie related incident. Ninjas and
Pirates tried to help, but alas, they were too late.
On a typical Friday night I am
I can be found going for drinks, at the gym, at work, once upon a
time at Manray (which sadly is no more), etc. (Not necessarily in
that order and I am open to new ideas).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Hmmm...I am VERY shy but you will never believe it. That is about
it, otherwise, if it is plastered all over the internet, it isn't
exactly private any more...
You should message me if
you dare!!!
and if you have a great disdain for impractical shoes and clutch
(ridiculously overpriced) purses...
Don't mind ignoring the "Falling Rocks" sign.
