My self-summary
I'm a pansexual college graduate who tends bar for a living. I read a lot, can't sit still, love to create things, and I believe that most of life's problems can be solved over a good cup of coffee. My dog is my favorite person. I dance in the rain and often laugh at completely inappropriate times. I love tattoos - I have four. I have a couch on my porch which is lovely for reading. Sometimes I'm a total granny - I bake cookies and crochet scarves while listening to Glenn Miller. Other times I like to drink a little too much and dance way too much.

I say "fuck" a lot.

I'm extremely subject to my damn curiosity, which is why I can't drop this site. Wanna be friends? Talk to me.
What I’m doing with my life
What I'm doing with my life is living it. If I see a cool tree, I climb it. If I hear about a concert, I go see it. If someone recommends a book, I read it. If inspiration strikes, I write it.

Right now, I'm a bartender. It's awesome and fun and I get to meet a lot of cool people. Besides, I'm charming, so the money's good :)
I’m really good at
Making cookies, pies, soups, and gloves.
Putting words together in interesting ways.
Scrabble.
Listening to people talk.
Dancing.
I've been told I make a mean Long Island Iced Tea.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have all my teeth. Probably because I'm grinning like an idiot. Because I do that a lot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
William Faulkner, Stephen King, Douglas Adams, Milan Kundera, and C.S. Lewis are some of my go-to favorite authors, but really, I'll read anything. I love books. It's kind of a problem. George R.R. Martin better not die before finishing A Song of Ice and Fire. I'm way too invested.

I love food. Eating it and cooking it. I generally eat pretty healthy, but I am a sucker for a big nasty barbecue sandwich.

Darren Aronofsky, Quentin Tarantino, heist films, old westerns, Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick... my disjointed list of things that make me happy in movies.

My musical tastes are ridiculously varied. If you put my iTunes on shuffle, you'd likely get Tool, Chopin, Florence and the Machine, Frank Sinatra, The Black Keys, Eric Clapton, Cake, Rachmaninov, and a podcast of Aristotle's Poetics. I like a little of everything, and everything of a few things. Just no country, please. It makes me sad.

I don't have cable, so if I get into a tv show, I download it seasons at a time or get on Netflix and have marathons. Lately, it's been Dexter, Fringe, and Criminal Minds. The Walking Dead stresses me out, but I love it.
The six things I could never do without
toothpaste
my dog
rainy weather
alone time
autumn leaves
a creative outlet
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what I'm going to make next
whether I remembered to turn off the coffee maker
how funny my dog would look in a shark costume but I would never put one on him because that's not nice
what the characters in the book I'm reading are up to when I'm not around
what I'll be like when I grow up
the social constructions of human sexuality
how black and white all these okcupid questions and profile options are - what if I have a dog and a cat, but prefer dogs, but love my cat anyway? WHAT DO I SAY?
On a typical Friday night I am
Working at the bar, or snuggled up in my bed with a movie and a glass of wine. Or maybe I'm camping. Or dancing my butt off at Sassy Ann's. Or drinking beer at Pres Pub. Or reading on my porch-couch. Or crocheting a hat and watching TED talks. But usually working.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I sing embarrassingly loudly in the shower, but can't sing in front of other people.
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi girls
  • Ages 24–35
  • Near me
  • For new friends, activity partners, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
you like beer or wine or coffee, and talking over it. Bonus points if you like books. If you like hanging out in interesting places, that's cool too.

you think you can make me laugh.

you want to go fishing. I don't have any gear of my own, but I haven't been in so, so long.

you're okay with me being super awkward and not knowing what to say.
