My Self-Summary
I'm positive and outgoing with a desire to work had and make life
even better. I'm also a person who constantly looks for an excuse
to laugh and have fun. I work in a field that can be emotionally
taxing even on good days, so a good joke or a fun night out is
something I appreciate greatly.
What I’m doing with my life
Most of the time, I'm a lawyer for a non profit organization that
helps crime victims with civil legal issues. I'd like to expand my
work throughout the state and eventually work on this issue
nationally. Right now, I'm still fuming over Game 4 of the ALCS.
I’m really good at
Spelling. i guess that's not a reason to boast past elementary
school, so I'll say writing, cooking, and bowling (real and Wii).
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile and my height. A lot of people tell me I have a nice smile
and some think I'm tall (i'm 5'9" so I think that only counts as
tall-ish)
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
book - The Sun Also Rises - I'm not the biggest fan of Hemingway
but this is the most hopelessly romantic book in the world. It is
an annual read for me.
movie - Tombstone. I'm even surprised that I wrote that but it's the only movie that I always want to watch and every scene is my favorite scene.
music - Coldplay, Jay-Z and the Killers - the list of my favorite musicians changes a lot but these three are always on it.
food - most kinds of pie and anything with broccoli. I really like broccoli.

The six things I could never do without
My family, friends, laughter, knowledge, television, and music.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
politics, world affairs, etc. Morning Joe at 7 am stresses me out
about health care and Afghanistan all day.
On a typical Friday night I am
out with a few friends and a few drinks at a bar/lounge.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I've spent a lot of time fulfilling personal goals and less time on
relationships and am working on developing more of a balance. Also,
I'm a liberal who watches 24. Both of these are equally private ;-)
