My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I don't think this is the time to be humble. I am someone who is fiercely intelligent, out-of-the-box creative, confident, sexy, strong in mind and body, and generally someone who has a lot going for themselves. I am a driven individual and will strike out on my own when told "no." I refuse follow traditional guidelines, rather I forge my own path based on who I really am.

I would love to meet a man who is just as blazing in their career, their thoughts, their personal path. I look for passion in all that one does, joie de vivre if you will. I want a man who can really run (in a life sense) with me and I with them. I also look for someone who has values, and treats all people with respect.

To those wonderful guys who would ultimately like to start a family, all the best! Personally, I am not interested in this at all.

If you find anything substantive about me interesting, please write an e-mail. I will respond to a thoughtful message in a timely fashion.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Good question! In the past I worked as a commercial interior designer, (ASID), which I enjoyed until too many layoffs and crazy employers reduced my passion for the field. Now I work as a paralegal, which I enjoy greatly. It uses my attention for detail in a different way. Work is not everything, so in the in between times, I am trying to find interesting creative outlets/projects. I also believe in maintaining my friendships and family ties as I believe that one's interaction with the world provides the meaning of life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
mostly creative things. Cooking/creating new recipes, art, photography, arranging flowers, interior design, spatial relationships (I can pack a car for a trip within an inch of it's life), singing, creating cocktails, making homemade soup, wine/food pairings, analyzing dreams, napping and problem solving.

I like to think I am good at anything I put my mind to, with the exception of math, and the LSAT.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have my theory. Let's meet over a drink and we can discuss if my theory is right.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I don't really have favorites.
Movies: James Bond and spy/thriller genre. Old fashioned romantic comedies; think Cary Grant and/or witty repartee. Heist films and mob films.
Food: Almost anything; I am very adventurous! Some of my favorite cuisines: Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Southern/Soul/Creole, Sushi, French and Mediterranean/Greek.
Music: Swing, Jazz, some pop, some rock, opera, classical especially in person, R&B/funk and Blues. Prince; if you don't think Prince is an amazing artist, we won't get along.
TV (when I watch it): Orange is the New Black, anything Anthony Bourdain including Mind of a Chef, Scandal, West Wing
Public Radio: Car Talk and The Splendid Table.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Coffee in the morning
beautiful lingerie
books (c/o The Free Library)
a well-made cocktail/bottle of wine
passion: for life, adventures, and good ol' passion in general
comfortable bed providing a solid 8 hrs of uninterrupted sleep
binder clips: They can be used for so many things!
(Yes, I'm aware that there are 7 things listed. Like I said, I don't follow a prescribed path or guidelines).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I'm going to make next, what dish I want to master, what I'm having for dinner. What bottle of wine is going to make it all sing.

Additionally I'm contemplating a life to do list. Not a bucket list, which implies doing something before you die and then crossing it off. Morbid. On the list so far? Learning Argentinean Tango and how to ice skate. As of 12/14, I took my 4th ice skating lesson.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
...planning what to cook over the weekend. What fun thing to do in the city because it won't be there next weekend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am very comfortable in my skin. You'll have to get to know me better to find out what this means.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over. think your life can be complete without raising a family, have just as much to offer, "like me," and are ready to have a healthy and committed (eventually) relationship. Thanks for reading this far!

You should NOT message me if you are just looking for FWB or already married. No judgement!
