Many of my interests are in the arts: printmaking, music (piano and classical guitar) and literature...but I also enjoy fitness activities such as swimming, walking/hiking, dance of all sorts and a bit of cycling. I enjoy spending time at the gym and do HIIT aerobic and follow a weight routine.
Travel is in my blood and with family origins in both Britain and Japan I have visited both places as well as having lived in Italy and Germany. I have travelled to most of northern Europe and then moving southeast I have visited Tunisia, India, Nepal (including a flight on an ancient propeller plane to view Mt Everest), Singapore and Malaysia. I love experiencing different cultures, meeting new people, oh and trying new food. ...Food and cooking are another hobby.
