My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hmmmm. Life is fun & full, with galleries, museums, plays & travel This year I led a delegation to Eastern Europe (besides my 9 other trips in the US), 2 years ago was Istanbul, 3 years ago was China.
I'd say loyalty is one of my strengths, I have - & keep- a ton of friends. Therefor I'm interested in an urbanite who enjoys socializing; whether it's parties, lectures, the theatre, Burning Man or the Fremont Fair. As an unabashed city-slicker I'm NOT looking for those proverbial romantic sunsets beach walks or a hiking or biking partner, though willing to leave city limits for road trips. Love 'em!
Presume from my photos it's obvious that I also love fashion (and am known for my unique style). But I'm not a complete airhead, and I realize that dressing up is more about fun (and it's NOT about how much you can spend, quite the opposite) than narcissism. Clothes are also an art-form, one too oft overlooked here in Seattle, unfortunately.
I do love animals, & since living in the PC NW I write my quota of political action letters, from animal rights to politics and women's issues. I also do a lot of volunteering (though sometimes it's just to get into a gala without spending the $150 on a ticket!). In other words, like most of us, I'm a mass of contradictions: a broke but always bill-payin' long-time home-ownin' artist. I will say that I'm far less flaky than I look, creative but as "down to earth" as they come..
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Enjoying it
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
art, socializing, & networking. I love putting people together.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My clothes. They're colourful & fun, both oddities in Khaki Goretex Seattle. And my smile (fairly constant).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm an omnivore, but spicy is faves, so maybe Indian or Vietnamese. Love Sushi. And real BBQ, not this NW ketchuppy slop.

Blues (I once was the head of security for the Winthrop Blues Festival. Now that was a wild weekend!)
The Beatles
ok, I admit it, I love cheesy Musicals, my darkest secret for the Internet. I have season tickets to the 5th Avenue
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
my cats
my passport
my art supplies
my car
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I don't.
I'm a doer, not a thinker.
But I do spend a lot of time organizing events & submitting proposals.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At an art opening or 2 (or 3), then maybe a party, play, or an auction (I seem to be on a lot of guest lists).
Baking Birthday cakes (maybe couple a week)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

You like to DO a lot & live within the Seattle city limits (or conversely, in Texas, California, anywhere SUNNY & urban! I AM willing to move, & love hopping on a plane). And if you want to actually MEET (Noone seems to on this thing, are they all married? Or 20 years older than their picture? I'm baffled by the preference for steady stream of e-mails but not a quick cup of coffee introduction). In terms of 'type', or whom I'm attracted to, well, I do like guys a little more machismo than some of the mellow PC Seattleites, I tend to be drawn to the East Coast or Texans with that humour, slight edge, & old-fashioned manners. As a "visual" person I have the excuse to have a slight bias towards looks, so please be in reasonable shape. Extra points for full head of hair and more style than polar fleece. I know, I know, it's shallow. And unrealistic?
