I am a small town transplant who finds herself in the big city area
for the first time. My job required relocating here from Peoria
almost 2 years ago. I know this area has lots to offer but it is
not much fun alone. I am looking for someone fun, who can carry on
a conversation about most anything. Someone who is okay with the
person who looks back in the mirror every morning. I finally am but
not without lots of therapy...lol...just kidding.
I am not a complicated person and I try to find the humor in most things. I have a care giving spirit and always try to make sure those around me are happy. I like to cook and am even capable of cleaning up the mess afterwards. Some of the best times I have had in life revolved around my kitchen counter with good friends and laughter. Life is too short to let every little thing bother me. The older I get the more I see that. Sometimes I wonder why I wasted so much time worrying about things I have/had no control over. I am known as a "sports chick". I like watching and attending most sporting events. I have one daughter who is 24 and lives about 3 hours south of here. She is the best thing I have done in my life to this point.
I like to readin my quiet time of which there has been too much of lately. Movies are always good, but I prefer to rent the DVD and make some real popcorn and watch most anything. And I like to ride motorcycles, (passenger not drive myself). Nothing beats riding on a Sunday morning with no where in particular to go and nothing to see but the beauty around you.
