I'm originally from LA, where I was involved in bike advocacy, guerilla art installations and a massive bike scene known as Midnight Ridazz. Until recently, I've been married to the UBC Library. Now I'm trying to rediscover or reinvent myself, as we Americans are apt to do.
I have a deep sense of social justice that has lead me to study the science of cities, how they effect child development, and ways that we can make the world a better, more open, legible and accessible place. (I think Vancouver has something going on in this regard.) The quest for a fair and just society is my main motivation in life, and that search has taken me in a number of directions. I'm a bit of a generalist at the moment, which either means that I haven't found my calling, or that I am a mastermind that hasn't risen to the seat of power yet.
I'm looking for someone kind, open, passionate and loving, though I have no expectations of what that entails. A momentary glance, or a lifetime, or anything in between. I'll just be happy to make a connection, to wonder at the world a bit with some intelligent soul, or to learn something new.
Also, I do take some issue with the term "bisexual." I consider myself queer, or pansexual.
