My self-summary
I am a fairly easy going guy. I like to be active, travel, and spend time with my friends and family. Originally from the south (atl!), I moved up to NY around 6 years ago and, like everyone else, love it! I have lived in many different places - India, Middle East (Jordan), Georgia, PA, NY. I love basketball (playing/watching), running, biking, skiing (I suck at it though), and trying just about anything new. I am terrible at karoke, and I think I am a terrible dancer.. but that won't stop me from making a fool of myself. The latest thing I over-confidently signed up for is the philly marathon, and I am not doing a great job of training for it.
I am looking to meet cool new people, and if it leads to something longterm, thats awesome. If you would like to train for the marathon together, that's even more awesome!
What I’m doing with my life
When I am not working/running/balling etc..? Spending quality time with family/friends.
I’m really good at
Creating things! Ask me what!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My most recent favorite book would be Delivering Happiness from Tony Hsieh. I also enjoyed reading After Dark and What I Talk About When I Talk About Running from Haruki Murakami.
Movies - The Dark Knight (second batman) by far! Good Will Hunting, Rounders, DDLJ, Rang De Basanti.
Food - all types, italian/chinese/indian/korean, anything thats good. Although, I dabble in cooking some Indian food ... staying true to my roots.
The six things I could never do without
Hmm.. family/friends, my bike, running shoes, basketball, my kindle, .. and my glasses (does that count?)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
creating the next big thing... or the next ski/bike trip, whatever comes to my mind first
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually doing something fun with friends - go grab some dinner/drink, watch a movie
