My Self-Summary
I feel like someone who does not fit in very well to Southern
California culture even though I have lived here all my life. Does
that sound too emo?
I tend to get pleasure out of either simple things done very well and the people around me.

What I’m doing with my life
I'm a mechanical engineer - I used to work for Toyota
designing/testing racing engines (NASCAR). Now I'm at a more
research oriented company - basically designing medical
devices.
I'd really like to go back to grad school and get a PhD so that I could teach engineering some day.
I've spent most of my life trying to do what I thought was the right thing - and that has mostly paid off - but I am trying to figure out what I really like and want to do now rather than constantly deferring pleasure in the name of responsibility. I tend to get involved in lots of projects and I like to help people out when I can. But right now I'm trying to find a way to do a little more living and a little less working.

situation. Changing oil. Being critical. Giving you the benefit of
