How shall I describe myself without delving into all too common cliches... I'd like to say that I live to the fullest. If I'm not running off to one thing or another I'm probably recovering from a prior adventure. I get a traveling itch if I don't have a trip or two in my not too distant future to look forward to. I don't like to take life too seriously and appreciate the simple things in life. I love the perfect silence you can find in nature.

I just recently moved to the Bay area from Buffalo, NY to start fresh and live somewhere that things are actually happening. I worked as an energy efficiency engineer in Buffalo, but am currently on the job hunt looking for somewhere that will appreciate my nerdy skill set. This means that I have a good amount of free time on my hands, so I'm using it to the fullest and exploring the area as much as possible.

Not getting hit by cars on my bike, climbing, Microsoft Excel, taking Wegmans pizza out of the oven at the right moment on pure instinct, fixing things, making people laugh, and generally keeping it real.

My glasses and whatever random white nerdy celebrity I happen to remind them of.

I'm mostly into indie Rock but always have an ear open for any kind of good music. some of my faves include Modest Mouse, Manchester Orchestra, Vampire Weekend, Bomb the Music Industry, Bright Eyes, the Format, Matt and Kim, Rilo Kiley, Death Cab for Cutie, the Shins, Motion City Soundtrack, the Black Keys.
