My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have no idea how or why OKC determined that my personality is "less kind". I'm kind. Promise.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in the marketing department at an architecture firm. This job allows me to do lots of the creative things that I love, like photography, layout, branding, and hanging out with a bunch of like-minded people who love what they do.

I've really been pushing myself to figure out exactly what it is I want to do in life. But until then, I just play on a bunch of tennis teams.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Empathy
- Table Tennis
- Driving stick shift
- Wrapping presents
- Setting calendar reminders
- Making chicken piccata
- Self deprecating jokes
- Quoting Seinfeld
- Being there

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Because my work requires so much boring technical reading, I rarely pick up a book these days. I am, however, shamelessly drawn to sports psychology self help books such as: The Inner Game of Tennis, Winning Ugly, and A Champion's Mind. (This book was awful. Don't read it.)

Some long-time faves: A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, You Shall Know Our Velocity, and anything by David Sedaris. RIP David Rakoff.

Shows: An Idiot Abroad, Arrested Development, Seinfeld, The Wire, Breaking Bad, Sopranos, Mad Men, and (just for amusement) Judge Judy.

Music: I like music.

Podcasts: This American Life, Serial, Stuff You Should Know, Mike and Tom Eat Snacks.

Food: Carbs. Also, olives, and especially chicken. [Update: Last week I gave up carbs. The honeymoon is over, Paleo]
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- Close friends and family
- My Aussie
- Things to laugh at
- Scenarios to over analyze
- Understanding
- Down comforter
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future: Is it coming?

The qualities that make up a perfect nectarine. (Yes, there is a rating scale from 1-10 on factors such as flavor, texture, and juiciness.)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends, drinking beer (or, depending on the work week, Hendricks & tonic), hopefully on a patio in the sun. Or, hit group.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I forcibly hug my dog.
