Have a relatively new job as a researcher for a labor union, which
is a dream job of sorts! Don't worry if you have no idea what that
entails - most people don't. It's a lot more interesting than it
probably sounds; I essentially do policy work and work similar to
investigative journalism.
Previously worked at a migration research institute on a project on
environmentally-induced migration and at a think tank focusing on
Germany. Graduated with my MA in
International Affairs a few years
ago and also specialized in international migration. (of the human
variety...no, not birds!)
I'm definitely a "work to live" not "live to work" type, so I spend
a lot of time engaging in
activism, going to concerts, etc.
Friends and family are paramount, so I spend a lot of time with
them. I'm very involved with a few progressive organizations.
