First and foremost: Hello. My name is Luke. Grand Rapids is a place
I have always considered home and I have been able to settle into
my cozy little corner of it with great friends and some fun
experiences.
I am passionately loyal and once I have a friend, they are that way forever. My past relationships have been long term and I am looking for someone to have a great time with and potentially fall in love with. But no pressure. I am always up for meeting new people and exploring other parts of this city that I may not have yet encountered.
I know a good amount of people in the Grand Rapids social scene because of how much I love to hang out with my friends and frequent certain places. You may catch us playing pinball at the Pyramid Scheme or riding mopeds around town when the weather permits.
Fun fact: I am in a moped gang. Seriously. We are called the Grand Rapids Ghost Riders and we may have gotten to know each other via mopeds, but we are a pretty tight knit group of friends who love to wrench and party with each other.
Hint: Scooters are not mopeds.
I’m also really into vintage hifi. I have a stereo in every room of my apartment and although it may sound cliché- music means a lot to me. With vintage hifi I feel music has more depth and warmth. I’m kind of a speaker snob. But don’t worry, I won’t judge you if you listen to music on your iPad.
A good plate of food can really win me over, but I wouldn’t say I’m a food snob. Just like a fine cocktail will always be appreciated, but I have no problem sipping on whiskey and coke. I like to whip up new creations in the kitchen to try them out and at times have gatherings with my friends where they come over and indulge. Luckily, I spend just as much time in the gym as I do in the kitchen so the goodies don’t catch up with me.
And as far as personal style goes- you won’t ever have to worry about catching me in a pair of Crocs. I am a jean and Tshirt kinda guy- but the jeans are tight and the T’s are V’ed. But no Deep V’s. Keepin’ it classy.
