I am analytical, humorous, and free-spirited.
My Self-Summary
Well, let us see. I wish I could write that I am working in a
highly lucrative career making tons of money and that I'm finally
settling into life. That hasn't actually happened yet. I'm still
working on obtaining the degree as life, with all its little
surprises, has done a good job derailing me a few times here and
there. No worries though, life just wouldn't be life if not for the
adventures.
I'm a really laid back person and usually have no problem going
with the flow, unless that flow involves breaking the law. I'm
quite funny and have been known to make a few people laugh here and
there. I'm quirky, as is every human being, it's just that my
quirks stick out a little more than normal.
I really don't have a lot of time to myself. My child and school
work come first, which doesn't leave much free time for other
activities. This can be hard for some people to deal with, and
that's understandable. If you are somebody who needs a lot of
quality time, then I'm afraid I have to tell you that I'm the wrong
person.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm in school, trying to complete my bachelor's degree, I
work on the days that I'm not in school and I have a rambunctious
preschooler that is the apple of my eye. Basically my plate is very
full. That doesn't leave a lot of down time, but I'm really hoping
that will pay off once school is finished!!
I’m really good at
Talking. This could put some off, but I love to converse with
people. I'm not too shy about it either, I'll start up a
conversation with the cashier at Walgreen's if the mood hits me.
Debating, which kind of goes along with talking, but just a little
more heated. I'm good at rattling off useless information such as:
a whale's song is as loud as a space rocket. I'm also good at
dancing. Now, that may be just a distorted opinion I have of
myself, but at least nobody has had the heart to tell me I'm wrong.
I'm also good at picking up on how people are feeling . . . that
can be a bad thing sometimes.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile. It's huge! Also, they notice how incredibly short I am,
which I never realize until somebody else points it out.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite books- To Kill a Mockingbird, The Color Purple, The
Portable Atheist (I will admit I didn't completely finish it, but I
have every intention of doing so.), Fahrenheit 451. Anything
Barbara Kingsolver. There are many others, as reading is one of my
favorite pastimes. I mostly enjoy reading non-fiction, and use
fiction as a break from the heavy stuff.
Movies- Star Trek!, Little Miss Sunshine, Fargo, Pulp Fiction, Star
Wars, Tombstone, American Beauty, Juno, Old School, Superbad. I
really enjoy a good comedy or a feel good drama.
Food- Ha! I love food. My favorites include Mexican and Chinese.
One day I will become a vegetarian and will stay that way. Quitting
meat is hard though, and sometimes I fall off the wagon . . . okay,
frequently I fall off the wagon.
The six things I could never do without
My family, my friends, music, laughter, nature, and my toothbrush.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, and not just my own. Why do a large amount of Christians
think that Jesus Christ was a white man? The state of our country
and the rest of the world. Why it's so hard for so many people to
accept change. How exactly did scientists discover that a whale's
song was a loud as a space rocket? And why do they call it a space
rocket and not a rocket ship?
On a typical Friday night I am
Unwinding from the past week! Homework is my main hobby these days.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I can't run a cash register because I mix the numbers up.
You should message me if
If you want a new friend, which might become more. You want to talk
politics-any politics will do. You know how scientists discovered
that a whale's song is as loud as a rocket ship.
