I am working on being more self aware. I put a great deal of effort into living a life which reflects my beliefs. I am genuine, goal oriented, a touch naive at times, goofy, cautiously optimistic and pack a compassionate heart. I value things like integrity, honesty, fairness and an open mind.

By day: I am finishing a degree in web design and preparing to reenter the workforce. I consider myself an user experience engineer based on current studies and past experience. I write all sorts of fancy HTML & CSS markup plus other goodies, however, my speciality lies in satisfying user wants and needs. I pixel push and play with vectors when needed as well.

I try to exercise in a more holistic way. This includes: kinesthetics, kung fu and lots of stretching. It's working and I find it works even better when I eat healthier. What I eat is increasingly on my mind and while I by no means have a great diet, I am interested and motivated to improve it.

I also spend a good amount of time playing and practicing music. The drums are my first instrument but I have since picked up the acoustic guitar. Nowadays I use the acoustic to figure out complicated rhythms so I can better understand them when playing the drums. Recently this boils down to Tool on acoustic. It's a strange convention but I find something beautiful in it. Now if only my vocals could keep up...

Spicy & savory. I'll eat undercooked steak and fish but prefer my poultry well done. Bacon is about the only pig I eat. I love breakfast, lunch and dinner...even more when I spread each out over a couple meals. Smaller portions, more often. Side note: romanesco broccoli is the most beautiful food I have ever eaten.

The people in my life! None of you know them it but I am so thankful for the great individuals I am able to interact with on a daily basis.

This city. I <3 (heart) Seattle! I was born and raised on the eastside but I am at home in the urban jungle.

The PNW. We have an ocean, mountains, desert and a rain forest. Try to find that anywhere else on the globe!

Exploring. I love adventure, the harmony of nature and finding new things. The PNW is great for this and I am always open to new adventuring folk.

Looking up. Be it sun, moon, stars, a celestial event or whatever else is in the sky you'll see me trying to find it. I love feeling small and taking a moment to appreciate the heavens does it every time.

Sunsets. What a way to take my mind off of life for a while. I would love to find the time to catch a sunrise here and there.

Process. Short, medium and long term goals. How and why people use things.

Scale. Sacred geometry. The Power of 10 video I saw many many years ago. Interesting fact: The universe, our milky way galaxy and an atom all have an amazing trait in common: they are 99% empty space. Incredible!

Breathing well. Meditation. How much can be learned from looking within? I am searching for something spiritually that makes sense. Taoism is on my radar.

Sex.

Working, at home or out.

I am trying to meet someone to spend some time with or join a band. We'll see what happens first.
