My self-summary
Have wit, will travel. Dog and gin lover. Addicted to superlatives and hyperboles.

Spirit animal...Internet trolls?
What I’m doing with my life
Incidentally blank right now. Just shut down my last (and first) company. I enjoyed running things. Trying to figure out my next move.
I’m really good at
keeping myself entertained and nursing the same drink for eons.
The first things people usually notice about me
I may be bossing people around? Not in a mean way.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I really like a good scifi short story (fav: clifford simak). I'll admit that I used to read a lot but I don't as much these days. Kurt Vonnegut is a favorite.

I don't read nearly as frequently as I think would make me happy...

...and I have no one to blame except myself and my love for good TV shows.

Music - all over the place...I'm embarrassed by almost all of them. One of my top playlist is called "90's Slow dance." I'm not sorry.

Food...I'm addicted to variety so I don't have a specific 'favorite' food type. I know what gluten is and I love it.
The six things I could never do without
1. Puns and dad-jokes. No shame and no apologies.
2. Memory foam mattress – thank you NASA. Kids, this is why we need to keep space exploration programs alive.
3. Optimism with a healthy seasoning of snark-casm.
4. Ice cream - someone slowly churned a custard in a sub-zero ice bucket until it became a delicious cream. This is civilization at its finest, ladies and gentlemen.
5. Dogs - I have a 4.5 lb maltese, Pixel, that my friends make fun of me for.
6. A blowdryer - it's like having a tiny leaf blower in your hand.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Diversity, communication, and conflict resolution.

what's the accepted way to say and use 'forte' these days?

how do i teach my friends to properly salt their cooking?
On a typical Friday night I am
strategically avoiding a saturday hangover.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
i really don't mind comic sans.

Update: now they have comic sans neue and it's not half bad. Comic Sans is still a workhorse typeface though for certain situations. Like making hipsters cry.
I’m looking for
  • Straight guys only
  • Ages 25–45
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You love the idea of pressure-free, "let's feel it out" type of dating. Chemistry is chemistry – can't rush it. But good drinks and ambiance helps.

You enjoy visiting the museum and opting in for the audio tour.

You love a good park or fire session.

You know and love the concept of kabuki 21+ movies.

(incidentally I get a lot of messages that ask me about what it is, so I've done the google search for you: – you're welcome.)

you know that having a DSLR doesn't make you a photographer

your bothered by the blatant misuse of the possessive in this sentence.
