I'm working with a financial services firm in NYC for a few years now. (I'm also constantly dreaming of travelling around the world, making a huge scientific discovery and being a stand-up comedian. Who knows, a change of career is on the cards :-).)

I'm a very career oriented person. A challenging career keeps me confident and goal-driven. I feel very rewarded, content and lucky to be at the place where I am in this regard.

Books: I read more non-fiction that any other genre. To sample a few: The Emperor of All Maladies, God of Small Things, The Prize, Tale of Two Cities, Fountainhead.

Movies: The Big Lebowski, Dark Knight trilogy, Anchorman, Pirates of the Caribbean. You might have guessed that I just alternate between comedy and fantasy movies.

Music: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, U2

Food: I just love to try out new cuisines / unexplored dimensions in familiar cuisines. I'd say I love them all, but if a push comes to a shove and I need to choose, I'll go with Italian and Thai.
