I'm currently going to school for Design and work full time at a bike shop which helps fuel my cycling addiction.
When I'm not schooling, working, or cycling, I enjoy grocery shopping, cooking, being outdoors, feeling the sun or the rain on my face, going for a walk and getting lost, reading, and nothing (Yes, it's ok to do nothing!).
I always have a book that I'm reading through and thinking about my next chance to ride.
I find life fascinating. I never cease to be taken by a particularly colorful sunset or brisk morning, a mountain scene (I love mountains, I get the urge to run up them all!), the ocean and waves. Two days ago I made a visit to Pacifica Pier by the light of the full moon and while others were busy crabbing I looked over the edge and watched the waves come in... hauntingly beautiful and contemplative experience.
I'm shy at first, but once I open up my personality shines. I'm not afraid to experience new things, some only once. If life is a summation of experiences then I want to fill my glass to the brim!
I see life as a combination of wavelengths, cycles, spectrums, chaos, and order. Dualities that break down into myriad pieces as you focus closer and seamlessly come together when you pull back.
My details says I'm Buddhist. I wouldn't consider myself religious, rather I am a spiritualist and a philosopher. Buddhist philosophy is very appealing to me and, along with Taoism, is what I most identify with. They illuminated my life when I was in darkness.
I realize that sounds intense, it's not meant to be, but I like how the sentence sounds. I like writing...
This one time in Peru I walked 10 miles barefoot through a canyon because I wanted to.
I prefer to plan loosely around life rather than live loosely around plans.
