I think we're all unexplored territories, even to ourselves; at any moment, a new person, a new context can open up a perspective on ourselves and/or the world which we hadn't imagined before. I'm a different person with each person I know; in a way, meeting someone gives me the chance to discover a new version of myself as I learn about the inexhaustible world of the other. Almost all the versions of me are relatively calm and stable, but I like to take risks, especially when it comes to trying something that might have an impact on the world. At the same time, I really appreciate all the ordinary moments, the light and the air, the quiet tumult of the city, the view of the sky from a trail in the mountains.
