My Self-Summary

I used to like catching fireflies when I was little but have lived in cities since age 18 with the exception of 10 months I spent on an Australian farm. Now I get my nature time by hiking and spending sunny afternoons in the park.

I work on art, mostly video and installations. I just curated my first art show. Besides my work I had pieces from artists around the country. I can get pretty busy between my art and my day job, but I balance the work with good music and yoga.

My dream date will bring me art supplies instead of flowers.

What I’m doing with my life

I am an accomplished artist and continue to focus on that in the long term. I have an MFA in visual art but I also have an MA in Development Studies which I finished while I worked at Oxfam Australia. I am now back on that career track working as a project coordinator in an academic center that focuses on comparative and global research and policy in media studies. I practice yoga and exercise pretty regularly. With the new job I recently became vegetarian too. That's not really related except for the timing. tbc...

coordinating. making things complicated. being late. going out. having fun. writing. procrastinating. ideas. looking at the stars. coming up with repetitive tasks to make a big project. responding to email.
