My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A perfect moment for me is putting on a Miles Davis record, kicking back on the couch, and getting lost in the music. His trumpet playing has a way of transporting me to a serene and happy place. I started learning jazz guitar a number of years ago, and I really enjoy it. I’ve also been studying classical voice for a few years, and while I’m no Luciano Pavarotti, if you close your eyes and listen to me sing, I sound at least 200 lbs heavier! Joking aside, I’ve had the good fortune of finding music teachers that are gifted and humble, and they inspire me every day. Between learning various instruments, I can also be found composing music at my desk, or in my home recording studio.

When I’m not playing music, I work as a software engineer. My day job allows me to express my inner nerd; Gollum impressions for the ladies, naming my dog Dilbert, watching Battlestar Galactica... Wait! Before you run for the hills, I'm only kidding (well, only one of the three is true, but I'll let you figure out which!)... Aside from the occasional gratuitous pun, my friends would describe me as a pretty normal guy with a good sense of humor. When I’m not laughing and joking around, I enjoy running, swimming, hiking, concert-going, and not embarrassing you in front of your friends.

Although music and work keep me pretty busy, I always make time for my family and friends. They keep me grounded in my values and remind me of what is truly important.
