I am a self-proclaimed nerd looking to expand my nerdly
connections, but this time in a more romantic venue. I am looking
for a friend who could be more. Currently I am finishing up the
Philosophy part of my Comm Design/Philosophy double major with
plans to go on to grad school in San Diego, with later plans of
being a college prof.
I enjoy conversations over coffee (or while walking, or while lounging at the house, or while fighting off zombie invasions... whenever really), discussing things that fall into the realms of controversial and/or lame, Sci-Fi, story RPGs, old-school RPGS (DnD, Whitewolf, etc.), drawing, and cooking. I am currently working on an unreleased webcomic, and I love creating characters.
For a date/someone special, I'm looking for someone who has a good sense of self and what they want in life and in themselves. Someone who can hold up their end in a conversation on a myriad of topics, and has a perpetual curiosity for life. A touch of silliness and humor are also big pluses. Gamer-geeks/nerds, bookish types, academics, and politicos are all my favored people-genres, but I'm open to just about any non-self-destructive types out there. People who see fit to write at least semi-properly on the internet (i.e. no netspeak and attempts at using basic punctuations) are a must.
I wouldn't call myself butch, but I'm definitely no fem. Though I don't look it, gender-wise I would describe myself as androgynous tending more towards the masculine. Sex and related activities are rather low on my to-do list. I'm looking for people for the hopeful possibility of a long-term relationship. I am an extremely loyal and devoted person to those who earn my trust, respect and affections.
