I think I'm really funny and it seems like people don't get too tired of my company, so I must be sufferable, at least. I love learning, laughing (especially at myself), and doing new things. Then again, sometimes I really like to sit on my couch and watch every LOTR movie without moving.

I'm kind of an indoor person, but I'm really enjoying the scenery of southern Indiana. I love watching movies, reading, learning new things, taking walks, baking, and spending time with friends. I can be really shy when I first meet people, but once I feel comfortable around someone, I open up.

I love laughing, I am really sarcastic, ambitious, a perfectionist (except when it comes to doing dishes), inquisitive, and passionate. There is not a thing I enjoy that I don't feel strongly about. I am constantly overwhelmed by how many things there are to know in the world. I want to know all of the things! Life goal.

I'm a graduate student studying library science (yes, librarians need degrees).

So right now I'm ruining my life with debt, but I'm hopeful for the future. If it doesn't work out, my back-up plan is to move to the Yukon Territory to try my hand at raising sled-dogs and avoiding paying back my loans.

Memorizing nearly everything I read. Baking bread. Not doing my homework (alternately, I am fantastic at doing my homework at the very last moment). Dancing in situations that don't require dancing. Becoming obsessed with things for short periods of time.

My eyes, I suppose. Either that they're very blue or very big. Or both.

I love reading! I loved Harry Potter (and still do), and I'll read just about anything that will sit still long enough. Some other favorites are Invisible Monsters, Cat's Cradle, Brideshead Revisited, Northanger Abbey, Never Let Me Go, and The Handmaid's Tale.

I love British TV, Doctor Who and Downton Abbey, and some random other things- Mad Men, The Hour, Daria, and The OC. Anything that makes me laugh and preferably anything I can watch on Netflix.

I watch movies constantly because I don't have cable. Some of my favorites are Funny Face, Pleasantville, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Howl's Moving Castle, and Cloud Atlas.

As for music, I like a lot of things. I love Ingrid Michaelson, Mumford & Sons, Andrew Belle, Ke$ha, Kelly Clarkson, Regina Spektor, and movie scores (particularly those by Dario Marianelli and Rachel Portman).

Food and I have a wonderfully relationship (except for eggs and iceberg lettuce, with whom I do not communicate). I like to try new things, but I have a real taste for mediterranean food- hummus, olive oil, crusty breads, and fancy cheeses.

My friends. Probably a given, but I go weird when left alone too long.
The internet and my need to be connected to the world around me.
Plants. In nature, but in my living space too. I like having green things around.
Laughing. That clutching your sides, laughing until you cry and your stomach hurts, kind of laughing. The kind you really, really mean.
Ice cream. The only traditional comfort food I find comforting.
Learning. I never ever want to stop wanting to know things.

Everything. I think about all of the things, all of the time. In particular, I think about am I about to miss the bus, where are my books, is it time to do the dishes, and how come there are so many spiders in this apartment?

Hanging out at the Irish Lion with my friends or catching up on sleep.

I check my bed for spiders every night before I go to sleep. I've never actually found one, but I know it's only a matter of time.
