My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'd say I'm an active guy. My friends would say I'm a VERY active guy. Over the last few years I've hiked Mt. Whitney and completed two Spartan races. I'm hoping to complete two more by the end of the year, before calling it a day with extreme races.

I'm trying to slow down a bit to enjoy and explore more interests. In some way it feels like I'm in the process of re-inventing myself.

My friends say I need someone in my life who is very active. However, I like women who are passionate about life in general. They don't necessarily have to be interested in all the things I like. I'm especially attracted to active, smart, witty women (ha! even if they're smarter and wittier than me).

I'll just add that I'm impressed with most of the self-summaries I've read so far. I appreciate the time it's taken to write them.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm always busy and trying new adventures. Currently, I'm planning new goals. Until recently, I've never been interested in photography. The subject seems to have really caught my attention lately. I've also become interested in exploring hiking trails along the coast.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm good a staying fit, backing up my words with action, nurturing friendships, and expressing my feelings honestly.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The first things people notice about me is that I'm kind, caring, have a good sense of humor, and make an effort to have fun.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I don't watch TV, but I enjoy going to movies. I like most types of music and foods. I don't read as much as I'd like, or as much as I used to, but do enjoy reading a variety of subjects.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) I enjoy quick wit and an easy going sense of humor.
2) I hold a high value on a willingness to be active and fit.
3) I have two dogs that are important to me.
4) Having goals is especially relevant.
5) Acceptance of people's differences is important to me.
6) Of great significance is the willingness to communicate freely about feelings.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Work, staying in touch with friends, my fitness goals, not necessarily in that order.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Strength training and I plan my weekend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm an outdoorsy guy, yet squirmy little caterpillars give me the heebie-jeebies. I can barely watch them wiggle and I'd never dare pick one up. Ha! (Thinking of deleting this, but it stays!)
