My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name's Shona. I'm almost 19 and I live in Stirling, Scotland, which is not a very exciting place to be. To escape it, I've been travelling the world, which is much more fun!

Some random facts:

I can be very serious or very silly. Not always at the right time.

I play the violin. Well the fiddle really, since I refuse to play music I don't like and therefore only ever play ceilidh stuff!

I can quite often be bouncing off the walls. Especially if I've had caffeine. Or kisses.

I like to dance in scummy nightclubs and I talk in sign language when I'm drunk.

I like cheering people up and will always talk to anyone that looks sad!

Some people think I'm a bit odd. This is quite possibly true. And also possibly because I try to talk to them in sign language when they are sad in scummy nightclubs.

I have irrational hatreds of - amongst other things - ice cream, Ben Stiller, the incorrect use of apostrophes and music with no words.

I am opinionated, weird, and giggly
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently doing not very much.. I'm on a gap year between school and uni (in Aberystwyth, International Politics and French) and I was volunteering abroad (in FIJI!) with disabled kids and then travelling in Oz and Thailand... but I'm home now for a few months before I go to France for summer! :)

I'm working for my father in a crappy office where I mostly file things and staple. It upsets me greatly and I spend my time wondering how many of my brain cells are commiting suicide while I sort out yet another filing cabinet or make up yet another folder.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
making banana cake. It's really good, honest. And I HATE bananas.

remembering things. This is especially useful in arguments when I can annouce 'but YOU SAID...'.

The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably whatever I'm thinking about them... my facial expressions are, er, very expressive, I'm sure I accidentally offend people all the time when I scowl at them.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
a) Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Running With Scissors and Roald Dahl stories! Weird things, basically.

b) 8 Femmes! It's a French murder mystery musical romantic (lesbian) comedy. It's HILARIOUS! Also Disney films, I love them! But only the ones with Disney Princesses and NOT sequels.

c) I can't answer that. It's impossible. I listen to a lot of music. Including everything from Peter Andre to Marilyn Manson, Dashboard Confessional to Carly Simon, Snoop Dogg to Ella Fitzgerald.

d) My favourite food is probably pineapple. Or anything involving pineapple. Pineapple pizza, pineapple yoghurt, pineapple pie... I hate crunchy foods. Especially toast. No, not everyone likes toast. I'd much rather microwave a cheese sandwich than have cheese on toast. I microwave a lot of things that aren't meant to be microwaved, and eat a lot of things that are meant to be hot cold. Like samosas, have you ever had a cold samosa? YUM.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music. I know everyone says that. But it's true, isn't it!

Conversation. I once didn't speak to anyone for more than 5 minutes at a time for like 20 days (it's one of my many travelling stories.) and went a bit crazy.

A microwave. See d) above!

A plan for my next adventure.

Tights. No really, I really missed them when I was away.

I know that's not six :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything that is wrong with the world. I'm going to change the world, you know. If you ever fancy a political and / or moral discussion, give me a shout and I shall share my opinions with you!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Still hungover from Thursday night, because that's student night and therefore better!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
probably more than you'd ever want to know, I share too much.
