My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a force to be reckoned with. I work a lot. I love what I do.

I live in a bright, yellow room in a pale, blue house. I really like the whole concept of "going on a date." I enjoy one-on-one interactions with folks and laughing; I really like to laugh.

I'm a punctual (I try), sassy (don't have to try), brutally honest (sorry. not sorry), obnoxiously supportive (being brutally honest here), raging ball of floral sunshine. I can also be shy. But not most of the time.

I love flowers and dresses and wrapping presents and making breakfast. Sometimes I like wearing bright red lipstick.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I help run a nonprofit Humanities organization off of Alberta. Our programming is mostly performance based so I get to plan a lot of play readings and one woman shows. I LOVE my job. I also work in an adorable children's store (the store is adorable, no, we do not sell adorable children). I get paid to wrap presents, read kids books, and watch babies hang out with each other; it's pretty much the cutest job in the world.

Reading (too many books at once), cooking (I make a mean pot roast), creating ambiance (lighting candles), writing funny stories (well, I think they're funny), embroidering dirty/witty phrases onto cute fabric, planning surprise parties for friends, etc.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Drinking gin and tonics, telling stories, and making my friends feel really good about themselves.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My favorite movie of all time is Clue. Also, Delicatessen. And Wayne's World.

Paul Rudd in Wet Hot American Summer is pretty much my dream guy.

My library card gets swiped more often than my debit card. Mostly shitty teen fiction. But also historical fiction... as long as there are steamy sex scenes.

Freddy Mercury is my hero. Aretha Franklin is my favorite.
Lately I've been real stuck on Jackie Wilson, Smokey Robinson, Sam Cooke, Bikini Kill, The Zombies, The Ventures, Blondie, and Lou Reed. I love Rihanna. There, I said it. I listen to the Black Album on repeat whenever I do the dishes. I will forever love The Ergs more than most anything else. Milo Goes to College always reminds me that I was cooler in high school than I am now.

True Blood. Twin Peaks. Twilight Zone. True Detective. Drag Race.

Bacon, matzo ball soup, and Waffle House.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Book club.
Runny yolks.
Red wine.
My mom.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm organized. Like, really organized.
