i've figured out how i like to live my life, what makes me happy and which things seem to leave me feeling fulfilled. i LOVE people, especially my friends and my family, and also the very old and the very young. i think that i'm smart, funny, pretty, compassionate, and also that however i'm coming across on the internet (hopefully) pales in comparison to the real deal.

sneaking into hotel bars and department stores at odd hours to play their pianos, even though i only know little parts of two or three songs. also, starting businesses and working on them, collaborating with other creative types, and having fun...mostly all the time.

making old fashioned(s). laughing at jokes. thoughtful gift giving. predicting earthquakes.

my hair. it's loud.

i really liked the time traveler's wife by audrey niiffenegger, high fidelity by nick hornby, and i also LOVE me some short stories...anais nin, miranda july, steve martin. currently reading: tropic of cancer, a heartbreaking work of staggering genius, a biography of george sand. recently finished: willful creatures by aimee bender, gilead by marilynne robinson.

i watch A LOT of movies. i like them most when they're funny or just really, really pretty. i'm also one of those strange people that really enjoys going to the movie theatre on my own on a friday afternoon.

i listen to a little bit of almost everything, EXCEPT christian rock, anything that sounds like creed or nickelback...love lots of classical, jazz, doo wop, hip hop, soul, and most things french (from piaf to phoenix)

i like food...

things that are great and things that are going be great. how to get into the sunshine as soon as possible, or if already in the sunshine, how it's soooooooooooooooo nice and warm. when/if i'm ever going to fold my laundry. dudes, NOT dude bros.
