I'm mostly off guys tbh, I've been hurt a lot and find it difficult to open up and trust men. Socialist, but not as active as I'd like to be. I try to make a living with my creative skills, which are largely based around traditional media. Like games that heavily feature strategy, though tend to be put off by actual so-called strategy games. I have anxiety problems and find it difficult to start a conversation or join an existing one.

Wait: Selling paintings during a recession, when you're not - and intend never to be - part of the Charles Saatchi crowd? Yep, that's a great career choice. (Aside: it isn't.)

I'm not a guilty secret. If you can't bear to introduce a trans partner to the other people in your life, don't invite them into your life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Sculpting master models for a firm over in the US. Reading about history (specifically, the Second Punic War). Doing a little IT course to give me a piece of paper telling people I know how to use Microsoft Word. Investigating the feasibility of replacing all my makeup with that new stuff Lush have started doing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Painting. Sculpting. Drawing. Ranting. Cooking. Telling Tories why they're wrong about everything. Street Fighter 2.

My arse, apparently. I work out with weights and get a lot of comments. Or my legs.

I'm a fairly introverted person, so if there's anything about my personality that contributes to first impressions it's being a bit quiet and awkward.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Discworld, The Invisibles, Preacher, history stuff, The Guyver, Ranma 1/2, Akira, Transformers, Marxist classics. I also read a fair bit of anti-Marxist works, because I don't like simply reaffirming the conclusions I've drawn to date; I actively seek out points of view that conflict with my own. (So far, every time I've read a renowned anarchist, neoclassical or left liberal treatise my conclusion has boiled down to 'well, that's clearly bollocks.') I keep bugging my local library to fill the gaps in their collection of Y: The Last Man; what I've read of it was pretty good stuff. And I love Viz, an' all; trying to get submissions published, and I'm Facebook friends with him who draws the Drunken Bakers. That's right, look impressed.

Telly: I actually lived with no TV for a year and didn't miss it one bit. But I did have DVDs and internet, so that doesn't count as no telly, not really. Either way: Archer, Yes Minister, Police Squad, Daria, PhoneShop, TMWRNJ, Blackadder, Beavis & Butt-head, King of the Hill, Star Stories, Brass Eye, Monk, Walking Dead, blah blah etc. Graham Linehan always seems to produce the goods. Also, The Goon Show. It's not telly; it's better. It's like a podcast you could only stream at a certain time.

Films: Aliens, A Town Called Panic, Natural Born Killers, Twelve Angry Men, Big Lebowski, Die Hard, Idiocracy, Some Like it Hot, Wall Street, Falling Down, Laputa, Terminator 2, The Sting, All Monty Python...

Music: Mostly harder stuff - Pantera, Public Enemy, Dead Kennedys, Crystal Castles, NIN, Otep, Ramones, Placebo, KMFDM, Black Sabbath. Aside from headbanging stuff: Presidents of the United States of America, Dvorak, Beastie Boys, Buddy Holly, George Formby, Tchaikovsky, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Rolling Stones. And I listen to game soundtracks; not modern stuff with all licensed acts, but bleepy old school Nintendo, Capcom and Enix stuff.

Food: Love Thai. And I get a lot of love for my vegan cuisine. Haven't tried my ocean pie? Well, then.

Standup: Yeah, I'm breaking your mould, OkCupid. Whatchagonnado? Richard Herring, Stewart Lee, Richard Pryor, Katherine Ryan, Harry Hill before he got hooked by ITV and the advertising industry, Eddie Izzard, French & Saunders, Bill Hicks, Bill Bailey, Tim Minchin, Dylan Moran, Billy Connolly, Rich Hall, Dave Allen.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My creativity, books, my winkie, my bike, my iPhone, and mementos of departed friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Mostly, creative projects. I'm working on this sculpting commission, and besides that I've got various painting projects on and off - I'm a bit of a butterfly and prefer to have several things on the go and flitter to and fro rather than try to create to a strict agenda. I'm also working on game maps for Civilization IV that focus on aesthetics and instil in the player a sense of wonder and exploration. Oh, and figuring how to work Hannibal Barca's genius generalship into games of Warhammer.

Aside from that, I pay attention to world events. Outspoken commentary on the Olympics, the far right, animal ethics and civil liberties have gotten me followed by hundreds of strangers, and unfollowed by dozens of friends. I count both of those as indications of success.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing games, doing something artsy, or stalking your Facebook.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I've never seen Fight Club.
