Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I got back in December from living in the UK for the past three
years (which is almost a year ago now which is crazy!), London
specifically, getting my education in pretending to be other
I think new friends are awesome! :D
As for dating, I have a history of open relationships and
consensual non-monogamy. So if that's what you're into, brilliant.
If not, I have developed a belief that relationships can be very
different with different people, and should be allowed to develop
in whatever direction feels right. But you are now warned of my
And now for a random list of things that make me happy:
- Coffee!!! Been experimenting with cold brewing at home in an
attempt to save some money. And in an attempt to find a use for all
those glass bottles I've gotten from Revolver.
- Reading. I read lots. Just finished American Gods, now reading a
book called Bonk.
- Music. I have calloused fingers again, and it feels so good!
- I am itching for my next tattoo! (I think it's going to involve a
cute little octopus...)
- Autumn is the time of cosy sweaters, tea, dark beer...
- Poetry Slam!

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Wondering what I should be doing with my life. Other than that,
bike rides, yoga, my shopgirl job, music playing/writing/listening,
poetry slam, plotting my book cart, hugging and cuddling my loved
ones, lying on my amazing little lawn.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Seeming knowledgeable about books
I haven't read. This is what I got
from working in a bookstore.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm very very tall for a girl.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Favourites change a lot, but at the moment I'm very into the
lost generation. Ones from that era that I've read recently include
Sexus by Henry Miller; Henry and June by Anais Nin; Nightwood by
Djuna Barnes; The Beautiful and Damned, and The Great Gatsby by F.
Scott Fitzgerald. Also, I'm a Shakespeare nerd.
Movies: I finally saw American Psycho recently, which was
brilliant. True Romance. In Bruges. Role Models made me laugh a
lot. Skyfall was fun. Aaand tv shows: Homeland, The Hour, Breaking
Bad, The Bridge, The Killing, Orange is the New Black, House of
Music: I put my iTunes on random and these artists came up: Der
Dritte Raum (This is from a mixed album of electro-swing), Kings of
Leon, Sarah Vaughan, Dananananaykroyd, Wintersleep. I listen to a
lot of my bosses CDs at work, and in an effort to acquire new ones
I've started getting them from thrift shops at random. Just picking
them by their covers and then finding out if they're good. Turns
out to be a really fun way to find new music!
Food: I love good food. I eat lots, and I like most things.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Coffee, music, books, friends, sex, coffee
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Opening the most amazing little cafe/bar, with lots of books and
old broken things, and just the right amount of rough so that you
can feel relaxed but not nervous.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Late night movies at the Rio are always a good option!
And sometimes just reading at home, probably. Friday is kinda the
middle of my week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know how to drive.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want new friends and you think we'd get on. You can tell me
about the best casual drinking holes/cafes/live music/bookshops/art
galleries/illegal parties in Vancouver. You want to go on a date,
and you won't get disproportionately angry if I don't reply to you.
I don't want to be rude, but you may not understand the stupid
volume of messages that women get on this site.
