I've gone around and around trying to think about what to place in this profile... what would provide an adequate synopsis of the many varied qualities that make up me. I could just cut-n-paste a match.com profile of mine here, but this doesn't feel like the place for that. I want to make meaningful connections with like-minded people as well as exposing myself to differing ideas and ways of life. I think that is what makes life fun, and quite honestly I hope to be learning and growing until my last moments.

As you could probably sense from the first paragraph, I'm not looking to put myself in any certain category or box. I don't like labels, and I never fit into any one specific group. All my life I've been a "free agent" of sorts in that I've associated to some degree with everyone but never really had that place that was truly "home". The closest I've come to that ideal has been in the company of open-minded, intuitive, passionate, active people who have a vision of a greater world and the belief that we all can achieve that. Many of these people I met through personal growth workshops and life coaching. I've also met some people of a similar ilk in industry and the workplace. There just seems to be some sort of automatic connection and knowing amongst one another that you've found a new best friend.

I enjoy many different activities in life and am always willing to try something new -- new restaurants, places to go out, totally different recipes, music, dancing, etc.

Tired from putting in a long work week... but ready to head out and meet friends for dinner, a few drinks, or just for a good conversation.

I enjoy time to myself as well, and some weeks I turn off the phone, grab a book and just allow myself to relax and think of something different.

That I walked out of a good corporate job a number of years ago without a definite plan of what I was going to do with my life. I only knew that I wasn't where I needed to be at that time and was just spinning my wheels. I spent a number of years putting myself through some tough times... personal hell, and had some struggles. I don't regret leaving that though and trying something different.
