I am open, honest, and a bit eccentric.
My Self-Summary
I enjoy great conversation and a relaxing atmosphere. I'm not
really shy, but I am introverted, so I like one on one
conversations and such. I tend to gravitate towards more artistic
and crafty people. I enjoy my work, it's actually more of a
lifestyle. I'm around scuba diving and amazing animals everyday. I
also play guitar from time to time to keep sane and connected, and
watching good films too. I don't really have a type in the very
selective sense. Really it's hard to know what someone is going to
be like until you meet them, so I'm pretty open.
On a more pragmatic note: For film I like (Sex and Lucia is my
favorite by far and The Life Aquatic is a close second), art,
Adventure sports, the outdoors, the indoors for naps and other
glorious activities, and music that grabs you so much you play it
over and over again and it makes the hairs on your arm stand up.
What I’m doing with my life
I finally found a job I love AND can survive on. This is HUGE. It's
so cool I'd almost do it for free.
I’m really good at
Sensuality, learning physically technical tasks, understanding why
someone might have done THAT, affection, reading maps, remembering
faces, and sometimes names (There's sooo many). Handling crisis if
it can be resolved quickly, but not the kind that hangs over your
head. finding attractive qualities physical and otherwise in
people. That's it, everything else I suck at.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes. Then a hint of strangeness.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: It's been a while, but Christopher Moore, "Love in the time
of Cholera", "Mans search for meaning"
Movies: Bent, Brick, Sex and Lucia, Lost and Delirious, In Bruges,
Evilenko, Real Genius, Ghostbusters, Before Sunset, Shaun of the
Dead, The English Patient, Exotica, No Such Thing, Happiness, Spies
Like Us, Henry Fool, The Life Aquatic and a bunch I can't
remember.
Music: No country, no heavy corporate (coldplay's ok), limited
urban, can't think of anything else I can't handle, so everything
else falls into the good spectrum. Although I reserve the right to
thumb my musical nose at anything.
The six things I could never do without
Clean natural air
the luxury of bucking routine
Love
close friends
good weather
good mood
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My future and how I can live more in the present. Funny how
thinking about that keeps you from doing it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Teaching snorkeling, napping, hanging with friends, surfing OKC :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm dating on the internet and have been since it was all free.
You should message me if
any of this appeals to you. Don't be shy, it's ok for a girl to
write a guy. My introverted self would love that.
