Hi, I'm Jeanette.

I start every profile ever (okay, not really but most of them) with that same introduction because I think it's polite to tell someone your name. Honestly, I'd prefer you interpreted my profile to be like me talking at you rather than a lot of words that don't tell you anything about who I am.

I'm sort of weird, but not in that uncomfortable, socially awkward way. In fact, I'd say most people find me fairly unremarkable unless they talk to me about something really interesting. I'm just strange on the inside.

I'm the sort of girl who likes Beksinski, Odd Nerdrum, Slawomir Rumiak, and Trevor Brown. I like beautiful, unsettling art because it has a dreamlike quality that excites all my precious little neurons. I think it speaks volumes about what's going on in my head at any given moment.

In terms of my personality, I'm polite, practical, and at least a little intelligent. I like to talk, I like to laugh, and I smile a lot. I'm real and relatable and probably will never tell you "That's deep" unless I think it isn't deep and that you're just trying to show me how smart you are. I'm not jaded but things and people don't often impress me.

I wear a lot of rings and jewelry in my piercings but rarely necklaces and earrings anymore. I'm low maintenance in nearly all aspects of my life and enjoy things being that way. I dress simple and am just that way, uncomplicated.

Planning on moving to Florida to get an illustration degree from Ringling (if you're thinking of the circus, you can leave now).

I'm pretty short and reminded of this daily.

comfort in general, something to laugh at, something to occupy my nervous hands.

I spent most of my time thinking about art and all it's many meanings and what value it has to us all. I also like to have long linear thoughts on how things are assembled or processes of creation in general. I like to understand things.
