My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If I were a letter, I'd be "Y" and not subject myself to any particular role.

I'm in an open/polyamorous relationship with a really awesome woman. Just so you know what you're getting into. Feel free to ask any questions you have about that lifestyle.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Things! And stuff!

I like playing frisbee golf and rock climbing and going on backpacking trips. And then making up for all that exertion by staying in and drinking good beer with great friends.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I can make a mean 3D puzzle. I'll give you a run for your money in Scrabble. And translating the Voynich manuscript.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Height, tattoos? Usually I get asked if my Aldous Huxley tattoo is Buddy Holly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: there are way too many to list, but the Ender series by Orson Scott Card is great, as well as A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) from George R.R. Martin. Huxley's "Island" and "The Perennial Philosophy are personally really important. I'm currently reading a book called "The God of Small Things" by Arundhati Roy.

Movies: Blade Runner and 2001: A Space Odyssey are the winningest movies ever. Akira is so good, I named my dog after it. So you can probably guess that I am a big sci fi fan, eh?

Shows: Breaking Bad, Archer, Red Dwarf, Fringe, the first five seasons of Supernatural, Doctor Who

Music: Baroness are my favorite band right now. Their album "Yellow & Green" is just brilliant. I like a lot of kinds of music, from classic rock to jazz to metal to Enya to Tom Waits. Neurosis is playing on my itunes right now, if that means anything to you.

Oh, and here's my lastfm, if you're into that kind of thing:

Food: Sushi. Sushi. Sushi.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
itemized lists.
tabbed browsing.
catfood. My cat would be pissed if we didn't have any.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Hitch-hiking to South America. Someday...

How great would it be to have a warehouse you could turn into, like, the best house ever for you and your friends?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with my crazy group of friends, who are really amazing people despite their collective eccentricities... (Seriously, sometimes it feels like i'm living in Questionable Content)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
A nude photograph of me was once on display at the Kinsey Institute. I wasn't invited to give out signed copies.
