I like to think. I often dream...

I'd consider myself goofy, kind, genuine, intelligent, and complex. I can get very passionate about certain issues and I love deep conversations. If you can hold your own in a solid meaningful conversation, that's a plus in my book. But, I also love a silly conversation where we just laugh and people are free to be total goofballs.

I love to travel, both in and outside of the United States. There is so much to see in the world and I want to get a chance to see as much of the good stuff as I can and have some adventures along the way.

I love my family, but I haven't lived super close to them in about 5& 1/2 years. My immediate family is all in Jersey, where I grew up. Before coming to NC I lived for 4 years in Florida, while it's fun to visit I don't think it was the right place for me to live. I'm really enjoying being a bit further north and finding a nice compromise between Jersey and Florida weather here in NC.

plugging along on my doctorate degree in Education- specifically Curriculum and Instruction- early childhood.

Looking for adventures, traveling, trying to find time to be outdoors, but ultimately spending hours and hours in the library working,

Dreaming and planning my next trip-

Starting conversations up with strangers, yep yep, 5 or 50 years old I can usually find a piece of common ground.

Food: I'm random: plain smooth chocolate, grapefruits, cheese, and pickles ...recently I've also gotten into juicing and I try to eat somewhat healthy while still enjoying certain 'unhealthy' foods that I love.

The basics of life:food, air, water....etc
family and friends should go unsaid...

Six things I don't want to do without:
music
my flute
comfy feather pillows
books
paper/journal and a pen
passion/goals to give me reason

education, the future, friends, politics, the state of the world.... etc.

going out for a drink/ playing pool/ playing darts poorly but laughing anyway...
reading
writing a paper
watching something on Netfix...
But I'd rather be hanging out with someone special...
