I am a writer. I teach yoga, do choreography and perform. I am a really warm and energetic person. I am very physical and very competitive. I like dancing and riding my bike. When I first meet someone and we connect it is likely that we will end up talking for many hours excitedly and find ourselves having an adventure we couldn't have planned. I sometimes have difficulty balancing relationships with my own needs. mmm i don't necessarily know. i am most often told my energy even from people who wouldn't usually say that sort of thing. Also my smile, and my gesticulating hands.

i strongly detest the notion of favorites. I appreciate way too many things to break it down like that. Also I generally question the idea that such a list could reveal the delicate truth of who one is.

The six things I could never do without

I spend a lot of time thinking about

death -- but let me be clear, not in some sort of cliche morbid way, the cycle of life thing... i think about ways to think and talk about the inevitability of death to promote less suffering among the living. and sex. and justice. and discrimination and social norms and how being in nature impacts humans. and gender roles and alternative education models and how i impact the world around me and on and on.

On a typical Friday night I am

seeing theatre or doing theatre or rehearsing theatre.
writing, reading, or sleeping.
watching a film, spending time with my friends.
