Atheism and it’s important

My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like games without fetch quests and shiny things. I'm fairly easygoing. I like animals and feel bad about wearing leather insoles. I like watching the sky and walking in the bush and I secretly wish I could be like snow white and have birds land on my fingers. I like the zoo! And reading lots of stuff. I spend too much time on the internet :(

I am easily bored, secretly crazy, and kind of a nerd
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for the MAN.

Okay, I write ministerials and (rarely) the odd piece of policy.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Seriously goddammit 500 words in a profile? I don't like talking about myself that much.

WAIT WHAT, 1000 now? What is this, a novella? I've always wanted to write a novella, mostly because it's easier than a novel. There's not much of a market for them though I hear. I read a Dashiell Hammet novella once and it left me feeling slightly unsatisfied, so I can see why. It's not long enough for the tension to develop properly and then it ends way before you think it should.

I'm not good at being persistent. I get bored and then want to do something more and then that's the end of that. Novella's just seem easier. They're what, 20-30 000 words? Maybe up to 50 000.

Oh dear me. My job involves a lot of writing, so I think I am probably getting better at that. I do kind of want to become a novelist, though.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm just like everybody else. Seriously, I'm pretty unsurprising physically and the only thing you'll notice if I have a conversation with you is that I am quite shy and sometimes say really strange things.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My favourite book is The Bone People by Keri Hulme. I almost put 'the bone collector' which I think is a fairly average movie instead :(. At the moment all I have been reading is Dashiell Hammett. HE IS SO FUNNY.

My favourite movie is Dr Strangelove (or how i learned to stop worrying and love the bomb). Peter Sellers makes me lol. I wish lol was a more acceptable word irl. I also really like Ponyo, which is weird because I don't really like children's movies or anime. ITS SO DAMN CUTE.

Actually I should mention here that I have just started watching Dexter again and it is FANTASTIC in several different ways.
My favourite bands are My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth, and Belle and Sebastian. AND MORRISSEY. Goddamn do I love me some Morrissey.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Boring stuff only. There's not much I need. I get really angry if I don't get enough carbohydrates, but doesn't everyone?

I can do without internet for set periods. As long as I know when I get it back. My family has a bach in the Abel Tasman which has no electricity and as long as I have enough books for the rainy days it's fantastic! I don't know why I check facebook so much anyway, it's very rarely interesting :(

Twitter makes me kind of angry, possibly because I don't understand it enough to enjoy it. I just don't get the point and I have nothing much to say that is worth putting into 160 characters or less.

I don't have much to say that takes more than 160 characters either, but that's more or less beside the point.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Learning new things! Girl things like clothes and shoes (I have weird feet :( ) and nailpolish. Ideas for stories. Books. Whatever I'm playing/reading at the time.

I REALLY DON'T KNOW why I have a -46% untrusting graph bit thing. I'm ridiculously gullible and you can fool me with minimum effort.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At after-work drinks. Then I go home :(
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I write a lot. Nobody gets to see it. NOBODY.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over. think 5 and a half hours of Wagner sounds like a great way to spend a Sunday?!

Also if you live in Wellington and want to make friends. I'm really shy in real life :(
