I am a, hamburgler, and superhero, in one!
My self-summary Propose an edit
If I had to compare myself to anybody, it'd be George Washington
because we both had syphilis. Ooooh I'm a card!
I did not actually have syphilis.
Alright I've been putting this off a while. Basically, I keep
myself politically informed - at least enough to know Barrack Obama
is not Al Qaeda's number 3 man. I'd like to qualify that by saying
politics is an absolutely despicable game, but it's still kind of
important to keep track of.
I generally like to read and write, depending on what
it is. I play the occasional video game, and I really enjoy
woodworking (not all that great at aspects of it, but it can be a
lot of fun). I play violin casually, though there isn't
really enough time for it these days. There's more, but this is
enough of a wall of text so far.
Also, according to Okcupid I am 95% friends with myself.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
I just graduated from college and am putting that degree to good
use waiting tables at a Mexican restaurant up in Saratoga. Go me. I
use the funds generated by this to support my true calling in life
as a vigilante mall cop.
Update: Now that track's over, I'm working at a Banquet hall and
getting in the paperwork to go to school for Computer Science in
January.
However, given that I haven't been paid in 5 weeks, that may change
shortly.
I'm really good at Propose an edit
Just about everything
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
You'll have to ask them.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
I used to hate Shakespeare, now it's tolerable (Antony and Cleopatra
may very well be the best play ever written). I'm in the middle of
Heart of
Darkness, which is set during the Belgian occupation of the
Congo. I'm also reading Barrack Obama's book
The
Audacity of Hope right now when I have the spare time (when I'm
taking a dump, basically).
I also intensely miss reading Calvin and Hobbes as a
kid.
For movies, here's a brief list of things I avoid in them:
Tom Cruise. Seriously, what a worthless piece of shit. Take
The Last
Samurai. Great Japanese actors, decent plot, and fantastic
visuals. Tom Cruise as the last living samurai at the end of it?
Seriously? By the way, that was a spoiler. He ruins everything,
it's like the Midas touch but everything he touches turns to a nice
steamy turd. He even ruined Oprah, somehow.
In terms of music, I listen to OAR, Flogging Molly, Hair of the Dog (local),
Queen, and Johny Cash. Going back a
little further, I like just about everything Beethoven wrote, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Bach's symphonies, some of
Mozart's stuff, and
Handel's Messiah. In terms of classical performance, I like
Jascha
Heifetz and Joshua Bell (who once bought drinks
for my brother).
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
My violin. That
I made. Hell yes.
The ability to spot filthy references in seemingly innocent
conversation.

The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
Giving just one private thing seems silly and boring. I'm turning
this into a full confession:
In kindergarten, I could not state with full confidence that I
never picked my
nose. However, I did not inhale, did not particularly enjoy it,
and assuming I did in fact do it I never did it again.
I almost voted for George Bush in 2004
For years, I thought Vietnam was a small island near Korea.
I unironically enjoyed listening to Yanni in high school. Today I'm kind of
ambivalent on him.
I get into arguments with my car. Not even about car issues, as she
runs pretty well. Just normal arguments. My old car Sharky and I
got in a fight during a drive to Ithaca because he wanted me to
call him his real name and I "can't speak car, you asshole."
He was sent to the home not long after, my new car's a girl named
Carmen.
I disagree with my father politically (HOLY SHIT)
I just swore.
