If I don't answer right or way or at all, I am sorry ... I am a little overwhelmed by the kind responses. Please do not take it personally and send me messages to tell me that I am insincere! It is not humanly possible to answer all the e-mails. My butt would be glued to my desk for hours! I also tend to not like to IM unless we agree to talk on IM's. If they just start popping up and I don't know who they are, I just get overwhelmed and x them out. Ha!

With that said ... I am as genuine as you will ever come across. I come from a simple upbringing and because of that, I would say I am also very low maintenance. I find happiness in the little things and don't want for much. I am a hard worker and can even be just a little O.C.D. when it comes to my work. Still, I try to find time to enjoy life with family and friends. I don't know a stranger, as I am very outgoing. I admit to being a little too shy to approach someone and I have been told that I am one of the most unassuming people they know. Ha!

I have a great sense of humor and love to tell stories and cut up constantly. I have a bit of a goofy side and I do have what I call my "Lucy Moments". I make fun of myself all of the time and if I like you, then I will probably make fun of you too. I find imperfections endearing. (except stalking and scary stuff)

I am the oldest of six brothers and sisters in a combined family. We all get along very well and always have a blast around one another. The relationships we have in this life are the most important achievements. So, I definitely value family and friends and I hope you do too!

The personality poll on this does not match for me because I am pretty independent, very literary (as you can see), and pure hearted. It doesn't accurately portray my personality aside from being old fashioned maybe.

After years of working in the automotive business, I decided that I was not using my talents in the best way. I tend to be a creative minded person and also enjoy working with people. After my divorce 4 years ago, I put myself back through school and now I am certified as a teacher. I have the summers off, which is always nice! I work with elementary students with learning differences and behavior disorders. I also tutor students in math. It's not an easy job, but since I have chosen this path, it has blessed me tremendously!

I feel that my strengths lie in my ability to be open minded, patient, and compassionate. I think that I am also strong in areas that involve creativity, music, writing, and communication. I enjoy making people laugh as well.

Well, at my height (4' 11), it never fails that someone comments about being short. Ha! It doesn't bother me. I am used to it and I have heard that good things come in small packages. I make up for my height in personality and passion. Ha! Also, I look very young for my age, so people often cannot believe that I am in my mid 30's. They usually assume that I am 10 years or more younger than my actual age.

Another thing ... listen ... I am no Barbie doll. I am curvy! You really can't miss that fact. I do eat healthy and I work out on a regular basis. I haven't reached my goal yet, but I am a good sport and I am always reaching for goals.

I absolutely love to read and I often prefer it over watching t.v. I am more of a fan of non-fiction and documentaries. Also, anything involving history, things that stretch your ways of thinking, quantum physics, biographies, and those things that will blow your mind. That's what I like!

Movies ... any 80's moves. Top Gun used to be my favorite. Also, I enjoy movies like Braveheart, Titanic, Walk the Line, ... I like true stories or documentaries quite a bit. I admit that I do laugh every time I see stupid movies like Nacho Libre. The Brittish version of Death at a Funeral cracked me up too as well as Oh Brother Where Art Thou. The part where he goes, "I thought you was a toad", gets me every dang time without fail.

Shows ... I don't watch much t.v. at all. BUT if I do end up in front of the tv ... I enjoy the History Channel, so I will get into things like The Hatfield and McCoys shown recently. Also, Modern Family is another one I have enjoyed watching. Then there's Pawn Stars, American Pickers ... I like to hear people sing, so I can easily sit and watch The Voice or pretty much anything that involves music. I will not sit here and lie and make myself sound like the coolest woman by saying I sit around at home alone and watch football for the hell of it, Never happens. Ha! I am not a real fan of watching sports on t.v., but I will just to sit by you ... and I can be bribed with back rubs too! :) Seeing live games, especially a baseball game is always fun, though!

Food ... I love nearly all foods, although I don't care for most sushi. Maybe I watched too many documentaries about things in the ocean. I have started following the Paleo Diet 100%, so I eat lots of proteins, veggies, and some fruits. However, I love sweets and Mexican is my favorite when I splurge.

Music .... I have a very eclectic taste in music! I am a bit of a country girl, so I love some Zac Brown Band. It is just so earthy and it never fails to put me in a good mood every time. Also, I like Lady Antebellum, Journey, Rush, Led Zepp, all the 80's stuff that used to be popular ... I will be cleaning the house and listening to some Sinatra, big band jazz, or some Billie Holliday. I have an old soul like that. I also play the violin and like to sing ... kind of like an Alison Krauss type. Don't listen to real heavy stuff or much rap.

I have been focusing more on becoming the right person than looking for the right person. I don't have an exact description of who this right person would be, but I feel that my best match would be someone who is outgoing and has the confidence to hold a conversation around family and friends. He would be compassionate and have a good heart, yet have the strength to be a man's man. Maybe a little wild streak, yet not getting in trouble and still going through a bad boy phase. I am a strong girl emotionally and mentally, so I hope he would not be impressed or fulfilled by the high maintenance, princess type with all beauty and no brains. He is looking for someone who can hold an intelligent conversation. He isn't looking for sophistication or a trophy, but someone of substance who is always genuine, down-to-earth, and real. While attraction is important, the most important thing to me above all else, is how I feel when I am around that person. Humor and personality do go a long way!

I am spending time with family and friends. We always have a great time together! Sometimes it is meeting at a pub or sometimes its just grabbing dinner or hanging out at the house. A bonfire is one of my favorite things to do with friends.

Well, I am not going to share that now. I will wait until it's WAY too late and you are already head over heels! Ha! Just kidding. And yes, I have baggage, but it's cute and it all matches. (It's a joke.)
