My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
First, I just want to say that I would love to answer every message to be polite and say thank you. However, that is proving to get out of control. If I don't answer you back, please don't take it personally or think I am being rude by ignoring you. It's a little overwhelming trying to respond to every message. I am as genuine as you will ever come across. I come from a simple upbringing and because of that, I would say I am also very low maintenance. I find happiness in the little things and don't want for much. I don't know a stranger, as I am very outgoing. I admit to being a little shy when it comes to approaching someone. It quickly wears off when I get the "green light". Otherwise, I feel like a sales person. "You want some of this? Check yes or no."

I have a great sense of humor and love to tell stories and cut up constantly. I have a bit of a goofy side and I do have what I call my "Lucy Moments". I make fun of myself all of the time and if I like you, then I will probably make fun of you too. I find imperfections endearing. (except stalking and scary stuff)

I place more value on my relationships at this point in life. I have a large family and we have great times together! I look forward to a family of my own and I am open minded about how that may happen or become possible.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
After years of working in the automotive business, I decided that I was not using my talents in the best way. I tend to be a creative minded person and also enjoy working with people. After my divorce 6 years ago, I put myself back through school and now I am certified as a teacher. I work with first grade elementary students with learning differences and behavior disorders. It's not an easy job, but since I have chosen this path, it has blessed me tremendously!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I feel that my strengths lie in my ability to be open minded, patient, and compassionate. I think that I am also strong in areas that involve creativity, music, writing, and communication. I enjoy making people laugh as well.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
* I am curvy.

* My height. I am barely 5ft tall, which is hobbit size, but you know what they say about good things in small packages.

* I look about 10-15 years younger than my age. This is both a blessing and a curse, but I will take it!

* My smile. I have all of my teeth and I smile quite a bit.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I would rather sit on the porch with a book than watch t.v. So, there is a nerd in me. I like to read all types of things, but mostly non-fiction documentaries, historic information, and things that blow your mind about the way things work.

I think every guy should read Wild at Heart by John Eldredge.

Movies: All kinds! It depends on the mood, but I like anything from sappy to adventurous. Snuggle time is a bonus ...

Food: Not picky. Mexican and Japanese Hibachi are my two favorites.

Music .... I have a very eclectic taste in music! I am a bit of a country girl, so I love some Zac Brown Band. It is just so earthy and it never fails to put me in a good mood every time. Also, I like Lady Antebellum, Journey, Rush, Led Zepp, oldies, blues, bluegrass, R&B, dance music (Blurred Lines = involuntary dancing moves akin to Weekend at Bernie's), all the 80's stuff that used to be popular ... I will be cleaning the house and listening to some Sinatra, big band jazz, or some Billie Holliday. I have an old soul like that. I also play the violin and like to sing ... kind of like an Alison Krauss type.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Just six, huh ...

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I have been focusing more on becoming the right person than looking for the right person. So, I think about what I can do to become her more and more every day. I try to attend church because I am not perfect. I am serious about being more active and being in good health. I go to the gym now between 3-5 times a week and hired a personal trainer to help me achieve my goals. I only have student loan debt. I have a great career. No drama. I am very happy with where I am at in life now. Dang. I beat a lot of odds right there! Just sayin'.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I am spending time with family and friends. We always have a great time together! Sometimes it is meeting at a pub or sometimes its just grabbing dinner or hanging out at the house. A bonfire is one of my favorite Friday night ideas.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well, I am not going to share that now. I will wait until it's WAY too late and you are already head over heels! Yes, I have baggage, but it's cute and it all matches. (It's a joke.)

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You do not have a stripper pole anywhere in your home.
You don't invite a lady on your boat on the first date. You might as well ask a lady to bring a rope and a tarp. She doesn't know you from Adam. If she gets on a boat with you alone, she is not smart. Period. Unless you are into rocks for brains. :)
If you know the difference between "discreet" and "desecrate" and use neither one of those words when asking me out.
You promise not to smack my hand for eating a carb.
