I am curious, intuitive, and absent minded.

My Self-Summary

Assuming that by end of this I'll have forgotten eight to ten things I wanted to include originally, I've elected to make a list of things that may not be covered later on:

1) I have an irrational fear of cotton balls. It's all in the texture.

2) I'm convinced that any ranch or ranch flavored product came straight out of hell.

3)My favorite word means "many minded..." and has been removed from the Merriam Webster's dictionary.

4)I believe in the ebb and flow of energy in the universe, and of the sharing of it between all life in general.

5)There is a sound effect for every action or inaction in my life.

What I’m doing with my life

Experiencing it I imagine. It's important to know that as far as what I, or anyone really, am 'doing' with my life, it's all relative to what I've already done and will do later. That being the case, I'd say I'm growing, and that's all anyone can hope for.

Back to school in the fall! Nice.

Back in school now, and enjoying every minute.

I’m really good at

Pen, ink, charcoal, photography, or any number of digital media devices and programs, I enjoy it, and so do other people. I guess that's what good means.

I also enjoy writing. On another note of literacy, I'm a pretty darn good reader too.

Singing. It's personal, and though I can carry a tune, that doesn't mean you won't get sick of hearing it day in and day out, just ask those that live or work with me.

etc...

The first things people usually notice about me

I've never asked anyone, probably my personality, then maybe my curly hair.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books (short story collections, etc...)
The Worthing Saga, Dying of the Light, M is for Magic, Interworld, Fragile Things, You Suck, Hocus Pocus, Good Omens, The Memory Keeper's Daughter, The Resurrectionists, Isabel's Bed, Magical Thinking, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, Commedia Divina, Anansi Boys, The Fig Eater, The Mermaid Chair, The Secret Life of Bees,Running with Scissors, Frankenstein, A Song of Fire and Ice, For One More Day, The Pleasure of My Company, The Tenant of Wildfield Hall, Canterbury Tales, Naked, Tuesdays with Morie, Jane Eyre, American Gods, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten, Sin Eater, The Thirteenth Tale, David Copperfield, anything existential, The Stupidest Angel, Dune, any play by Christopher Marlowe, The Celestine Prophecy, The Tenth Insight, Blindness, Lamb, The Graveyard Book, Pygmallion, etc...

Movies
Here's the range...
Angel(a), Fried Green Tomatoes, Penelope, Robin hood (Disney), Sunshine, Joyeux Noel, The Jerk, etc...

Television
LOST, Battlestar Gallactica, Little Britain, anything on Bravo.

Music
Rufus Wainwright, Dinah Washington, Diana Krall, Lamya, Bob Seger, Sia, Sonya Kitchell, The White Stripes, The Real Mckenzies, Journey, Reo Speedwagon, Joss Stone, Lilly Allen, Lamya, Elliott Smith, and so on...everything has a place, (except rap and most country), even Dolly Parton, I Have BEEN to Dollywood!

Food
I was a vegetarian for nine years of my life, and love the veggies, with the exception of brussel sprouts. I am once again omnivorous but still prefer chicken to beef! Truthfully I'll try anything once, I have a soft spot for Greek and middle eastern foods and believe that hummus and espresso should be a part of every meal.

Coffee

Gets its own category.
-Sumatra Lingtong
-Ethiopian Harrar
Enough said.

The six things I could never do without

Aside from the biological necessities...

1)Coffee

2)Family and friends

3)An outlet for expression

4)A blanket

5)Time for reflection

6)Color

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How to stay positive in a world where many relationships are built upon the ability to relate to one another through criticism of other people.

Death. Not in the morbid, "I need to take a bottle of aspirin and fall asleep in the tub.", sort of way either. More as a, "Well that was fun, but it's nice to be detached from that whole mortal coil after a hundred years...", sort of a thing.

Why what my mind and body want to do are two completely separate things.

Whether or not I can achieve happiness without an endless supply of money; How did it become the most significant source of satisfaction in the world?

If it might not be possible to see the beauty in everything no matter the circumstance.

How I got where I am and where I'll be tomorrow.

How to fragment space time in the corner of my living room with my mind and for no particular reason.

On a typical Friday night I am

Either working, watching movies, reading a book, or doing the hang out thing with friends.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Often, I imagine being trapped in room all by myself, forever, with an endless supply of reading material.

You should message me if

You want to have a conversation.

You want to correct my grammar or punctuation in order to better the world, and/or strike up a more pleasant discussion.

Are curious.

Know more about me than I do.

Know more about things I know about than I do.

Know more about things I don't know about than I do.

Have seen me somewhere but can't remember where.

Can make really good chocolate chip cookies.
