Describing myself to strangers feels like writing a cover letter. Why is this taking so long?
Me = someone who can find a way to make any situation or boring winter night memorable. I keep a trunk full of "just in case" gear for times when a glow-in-the-dark frisbee might come in handy, a hula-hoop, baseball gloves, tennis rackets and any number of random props for those 'what do I do?!' nights. I'd like someone to have an adventure with. Could be you if you're up for it....
I'm just a little too old for the college kids and maybe not hip enough for the downtown hipster scene. I come from Olympia, WA where the running joke is 'it's not shocking to see a guy in his underwear doing kartwheels across the street.' I guess you could say being from where I'm from makes me down for anything - I'm super easy going - and definately spontaneous with the right people. I suppose I just want to find the right kind of person I can be 'me' with.
My one true love is to travel. I've roamed the world, or at least parts of it, and my only wish is to see as much of it as possible while I'm alive. SE Asia is at the moment my favorite region on earth. This region covers a lot of counties but there's something magical about the different cultures, traditions, food and generosity of that part of the world. I've lived in New Zealand and Australia at separate times in my adult life and although I love them dearly, I appreciate coming from Washington and the west coast more than ever.
