My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I always try to have some new major thing in my life to look forward to. At the moment I am working on selling my home and buying a piece of property and having a home built there.

I take pride in working with my hands and have held jobs in the engineering field since I was 18. I've built devices for homeland security, designed, built and tested hydrogen reactors for an alternative fuel company and now build model train layouts and fly around the US from time to time building them for those folks that have done pretty well for themselves.

I am looking for someone who would like to settle down, but not necessarily in the sense that settling down means not having adventures and amazing trips anymore. I'm a family guy, I look forward to someday having a family, but have learned in life that it's never good to force anything. I'd love to find a lady that shares passions such as hiking, sports, photography and traveling off the beaten path.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working a very unique job that pays me plenty to enjoy my life.
I'm working on the process of selling my home that is jammed between many other homes and trying to acquire a piece of large property and build a home.

I am one of those people that looks at the future and makes sure to have my Roth IRA funded fully every year cause I want to retire when I am 65.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sports, cooking, engineering, problem solving, communicating, listening (sometimes people don't want an answer), hide and go seek with my dog in my house.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Most people don't tell you this. I think the few people that have told me what they notice is that I am extremely funny and should do stand up. I don't think my random sense of humor translates, though.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
books - As much as I hate to say it, most of my reading is done online and is usually from news sites. I do become a bit obsessed with meteorology books when the weather turns nasty.

shows - Breaking bad, Seinfeld, HIMYM, Simpsons (only season 1-10) King of the hill (please bring it back Netflix!) I also have a bad obsession with documentaries, especially ones that make me cry. Wait, did I say cry?

Music - lots of stuff you'd find on KEXP or at Sasquatch festival.

Food - Picky eaters, we won't get along. I love to eat and try new foods and find it to be a huge turnoff when someone says tons of different types of food are, "gross"
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
There are the obvious ones of course, but we'll try to go deeper here.

*Family
*Car windows down in the summer with my music loud and driving along the Snoqualmie River.
*hiking trails to remote places
*enthusiasm
*NW Topography
*laughter
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Building a tiny house. Doing something different with my life and not doing the same old thing everyone does.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Each one is unique.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am not a confident swimmer.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you really do want to get to know me. I rarely message people these days and I am unable to see if you "liked" me.
