My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I actually live in Snoqualmie, not Seattle, but I am surrounded by families where I live and need to be more visible... Yup, you hate me! :)

What you see, is what you get. I will always read your profile, I will always message people that I find interesting and not only because I find them attractive. I have seen the copy paste jobs from friends that are women who use online dating and get the most ridiculous messages, and I will never be one of those guys. I would much rather win you over by me being myself and being genuine than to put up some sort of facade.

I love to laugh, share moments, be a bit too goofy at times, push my body on a tough hiking trail or on a sports field. I am looking for someone who has their own passions in life and wants to share some of them with someone. Independence hasn't always come easily to me when it comes to relationships, but a lot of growing and finding myself has made me realize that the healthiest relationships are grown with time together and time apart.

This is getting overly wordy, and I know sometimes I don't want to read a ton in a profile so I am slowly backing away from the keyboard... and moving onto these other sections.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
OKC says to not overthink this and just talk about my day to day life.

I have a really interesting job that probably 10-15 people in this country can say they do for a living. I spend my free time hiking, playing sports, eating out far too often. I do really enjoy cooking and am a pretty good cook, but you know the game, when you're single cooking yourself a fancy meal isn't always worth your time.

Oh, I became a homeowner at 21, which was probably one of the coolest and scariest commitments to make at such a young age.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am extremely athletic, I excel playing sports and absolutely love playing team sports.

I am a really great communicator and listener, a lot of my friends that are women have pointed out how good I am with listening and helping them through difficult times. I have one friend who always compliments me on how I can mention something she told me years ago that was really small yet I still put it away in my memory bank.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My sense of humor, I am really quick when it comes to puns. I love to joke around, I don't do well with people who have to take every moment in life seriously.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
books -anything to do with the weather, I am obsessed with big storms in the winter.

shows - Breaking bad, Seinfeld, HIMYM, Simpsons (only season 1-10) King of the hill (please bring it back Netflix!) I also have a bad obsession with documentaries, especially ones that make me cry. Wait, did I say cry?

Music - lots of stuff you'd find on KEXP or at Sasquatch festival.

Food - Picky eaters, we won't get along. I love to eat and try new foods and find it to be a huge turnoff when someone says tons of different types of food are, "gross"
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Fresh NW air
music that makes me happy
music that makes me sad
All the obvious ones.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Building a tiny house. Doing something different with my life and not doing the same old thing everyone does.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Last weekend was Disneyland, but that isn't a normal Friday night. My Fridays really change a lot, during the summer maybe at a baseball game or having a beer after a hike (oh yeah, I have Fridays off).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am not a confident swimmer.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you get excited by alpine lakes, mountain tops with amazing views and trails that take you to these places.
You have hobbies and passions of your own.
You find me interesting.
You are easy going, but have goals in life.
