I just moved back to Oklahoma after 4 years in Okinawa, Japan where I taught high school English to Japanese kids. I loved my life out there, but I'm finding that I love Oklahoma as well. I'm in grad school studying to be a speech language pathologist and I'm excited about the path I'm on. I also work for Tulsa Public Schools. I love to travel, and have learned so much about myself through experiencing other cultures.

I'm good with people and at teaching. I love to cook, especially now that it's getting colder, and I'm pretty good at that too. I love going on interesting day trips and trying new things. In the next 6 months I want to try SCUBA again, go back to the rock climbing gym, ride a horse, sail a boat, visit an Oklahoman vineyard, and build a snowman. I am looking for someone who is willing to create adventure with me.

I'm pretty outgoing, and I love to make people laugh. I'm a hard worker, and tend to surround myself with overachievers. Living abroad has taught me how to make conversation with most anyone and I love just hanging out and talking- I'm trying to make it my career!

I'm a voracious reader, and would love to fit in 2 books a week like I used to be able to. I don't watch much TV, and most movies bore more. I am a pretty adventurous eater as well, my favorite cuisine is Korean food, but I like Japanese, American, Mexican and well...everything delicious.

Lately, I've read Noah Gordon's trilogy, a lot of Sarah Vowell (love her!), Joyce Carol Oate's new book, and reread some old Margret Atwood, Wally Lamb and John Irving. I love reading autobiographies of people from unique backgrounds, ethnic, religious or anything else.

My kindle, my family, my passport, my education, my friends, laughter.

The middle school kids I work with, and how much the world has changed even since I was their age.

Dressing up for a night out on the town, or curled up on the couch in my PJ's - both make for lovely evenings in their own ways.
