My self-summary
Consummate nerd. I'm a variation on a theme. You're the Audrey Horne to my Special Agent Cooper, the Marceline to my Finn.
What I’m doing with my life
Working, reading, reviewing my facial-expression flash cards.

I work as a booth engineer for a movie theater company, which is an awesome way of saying I spend a lot of time in the car.
I’m really good at
Looking at things from different angles. Applying trailer park boys quotes to real life situations. I keep hearing people say that they could listen to me talk for hours about anything, but I've never listened to myself for that long so they might just be doing their good deed for the day.
The first things people usually notice about me
I bet he cuts his own hair
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - John Steinbeck, Douglas Adams, Kurt Vonnegut, Cormac McCarthy, pulpy sci-fi, A Song of Ice and Fire, Philip Pullman, Catch-22. I read the sequel, Closing Time, and did not enjoy it. The Tale of Scrotie McBoogerballs.

Movies - City of God, pulpy sci-fi, Roger Moore-era Bond, Die Hard 1-3, Star Wars, Super Troopers, Edgar Wright, 80s Ahnuld, Jackie Chan, The Usual Suspects.

TV - 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Breaking Bad, Parks & Recreation, Dexter up through season 4, Community, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, South Park, Avatar

Music - my taste in music is all over the place. Early 90s east coast hip hop especially Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, and Biggie. Rage Against the Machine (their albums are so clean), Cake, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Don Caballero, deadmau5, Dream Theater, Amon Amarth, Streetlight Manifesto, the soundtrack to (bears, beets) Battlestar Galactica, Radiohead, Weird Al, And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead. Hans Zimmer, Pretty Lights, the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack, etc etc etc

Food - Steak, tuna steak, tuna, rotisserie chickens from Wal-Mart, hot wings, sushi, pad thai, cold cuts. Any kind of pasta, all breakfast foods. Almost anything you can do with a potato.

My Favorite Kurt Russell Movies (In Order [Descending])
1. The Thing
2. Big Trouble in Little China
3. Escape from New York
4. Stargate
The six things I could never do without
This is a good prompt. No matter how you answer you reveal something about yourself. Most folks list six objects or people. Others are sneaky and say things like oxygen. At least one person has chosen to give feedback to the developers.

But in all seriousness: Graffiti on trains, the soft light that comes through my window at 6am, any kind of music, good whiskey, new socks, Oxford commas, and my coffee maker.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I am always really confused as to why there is something instead of nothing. What will the aliens look like? What if Carmen and Waldo had a kid?
On a typical Friday night I am
Building my D&D setting for a very irregular group, making sure John Jameson & Son have been keeping their shit together, and un disaster area ing my place.

I tend to keep myself to myself but with a new city and zero pals that can be rough.

What opportunities for sledding exist in a state that's so flat?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I take silly things seriously and serious things hardly at all.
You should message me if
You like being cooked for, going on long drives, and being picked on.

Board games and other time wasters rank high on the list.

I moved to Toledo fairly recently from Pittsburgh and I travel a lot for work which means I haven't spent a whole heck of a lot of time here. That being said I know all the movie theaters inside and out
