My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a variation on a theme. You're the Audrey Horne to my Special Agent Cooper, the Marceline to my Finn.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working. Reading. Reviewing my facial-expression flash cards. Drawing on whiteboards. Missing the heck out of my old 35mm projectors. I like to play games, go camping, drive, cook, and look at the sky.

I work as a booth engineer for a movie theater company, which is a boring way of saying I travel around repairing projectors for a living. Next time you go see a movie and you think "wow, that presentation was spot-on, there was less than 3" of bleed on the masking, those amps were adjusted perfectly to the acoustics of the room, and even with the 3D glasses on I'd say each of my eyeballs received no less than 6 foot-lamberts of white light" it's because of me. Unless you don't think that, in which case you were at someone else's theater and it wasn't my fault at all.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Looking at things from different angles. Applying trailer park boys quotes to real life situations. Constructing fortresses from pop syrup boxes. I keep hearing people say that they could listen to me talk for hours about anything, but I've never listened to myself for that long so they might just be doing their good deed for the day.
The first things people usually notice about me

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - John Steinbeck, Douglas Adams, Kurt Vonnegut, Cormac McCarthy, pulpy sci-fi, A Song of Ice and Fire, Philip Pullman, Catch-22. I read the sequel, Closing Time, and really hated it. The Tale of Scrotie McBoogerballs. I buy books for my cousins for Christmas, and I have a secret fear that they resent me for it.

Movies - City of God, pulpy sci-fi, Roger Moore-era Bond, Die Hard 1 & 3, Star Wars, Super Troopers, Edgar Wright, Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan, The Usual Suspects.

TV - 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Breaking Bad, Parks & Recreation, Dexter up through season 4, Community, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, South Park, Avatar (why M. Night, WHYYYYYY)

Music - my taste in music is all over the place. Early 90s east coast hip hop such as Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, and Biggie, Cake, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Don Caballero, deadmau5, Neil Young with and without Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Streetlight Manifesto, Radiohead, Weird Al, ELO, Pretty Lights, the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack, etc etc etc

Food - Steak, tuna steak, tuna, rotisserie chickens from Wal-Mart, hot wings, sushi, pad thai, any kind of pasta, all breakfast foods, burgers with A1 and pineapple (it works, I swear), almost anything you can do with a potato, I make a damn good chicken parm too.

My Favorite Kurt Russell Movies
1. The Thing
2. Big Trouble in Little China
3. Escape from New York
4. Stargate
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
This is a good prompt. No matter how you answer you reveal something about yourself. Most folks list six objects or people. Others are sneaky and say things like oxygen. At least one person has chosen to give feedback to the developers.

But in all seriousness: Graffiti on trains, the soft light that comes through my window at 6am, any kind of music, good whiskey, new socks, and my coffee maker.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I am always really confused as to why there is something instead of nothing. What will the aliens look like? What if Carmen and Waldo had a kid?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If I'm not working- Cooking, making up reasons to stay in, then catching up on my sleep. I am kind of a bum, but an awesome bum.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I take silly things seriously and serious things hardly at all.

I'm forever looking to understand other viewpoints or tastes. If you want to compare notes on life, the universe, and everything. I'm looking for someone to talk to, cook for, drive with, and pick on.
