Hmm... how to summarize oneself...

I'm a pretty mellow person. I like to sit back and watch things unfold in front of me, while enjoying the show. I'm happy. I love being happy. If I wasn't happy... well I don't know, but I imagine it would be a lot less awesome.

In the middle of September I left the corporate job I'd been at for 10 years, with the plan to temporarily switch from a life revolving around my career, to a life revolving around my interests. Temporarily because I know I'll have to go back to being a responsible grownup again soon. This is my break, or as I like to call it, retirement number 1.

My interests mostly revolve around doing awesome things. So, that's the plan. Do things that are awesome. Sounds easy, right? :)

I'm new to Sydney from the States. I want to pick up a few new hobbies and activities this coming year, and I'd love to meet new people. That's where OKC comes in. If you're awesome, do awesome things, and can teach me about awesome things, we should meet up!

Over use of the word "awesome"? I don't think that's even possible. Awesome!

A whole bunch of things. Doing this sort of wonky one eye squint that people hate, dancing without moving, peeling a banana with my mind, thumb wrestling (my monstrous thumbs give me a fantastic advantage), crime fighting, piracy, all the usual stuff.

I'm not invisible (I've only recently accepted this as fact).

Anything by Dr. Seuss.

Underwear (6 pairs).

The most awesome person I know. My nephew. He is 3 years old and the coolest person I've ever met. We have great fun together, although I can never seem to win our action figure battles...

Breathing. Standing, or possibly sitting. There is a strong possibility that food will be involved at some point. I've also been known to whistle (badly) when the time is right.

I cried when Dobby died. If you know what I'm referring to, you probably did to, so stop judging me!
