British by origin, I moved to Bangkok six years ago. During my time here I have launched a magazine for the Bangkok Post, set up my own custom publishing business and scouted the city for LUXE guides. I like the can-do attitude of working in Thailand and most of the time enjoy the challenges its poses. More than anything, I love the sunshine, the spice and the easygoing lifestyle.

Like most people who live here I have to leave the city at least once a month, whether it's to a beach, the mountains or to another city in the region. I enjoy exploring and relish discovering new places. Culturally I love reading, films - more of your drama/art house variety than anything else - music and art. All that said, my tastes can range from high-brow to low; I'm quite adept at talking about literature one minute, followed by the latest news on people.com the next.

I've always been active and enjoy running, cycling, swimming and yoga...but will give pretty much anything a go as long as it doesn't involve throwing myself from a mountain.

What am I looking for? Someone to have fun with and who will make me smile, who doesn't take life too seriously but is passionate about how they live. You never know, I may even be persuaded to jump off that mountain.
