I'm known as the short, crazy (fun) girl to those who know me. I am VERY laid back and I love being around people - I'm very social and love going out for drinks...but I also am somewhat of a homebody, and enjoy nights in as well. If you look up the astrological sign of Cancer, then that's pretty much me!

I am an actress and LOVE being in plays and musicals. It's what I studied in college, and I'm most likely going to further my eduction in it. I had the "corporate America" career going and it didn't make me happy. Money doesn't equal happiness - it's about doing what you love that fulfills your life. I also have played hockey for most of my life (even played in college), and am a big fan. :)

Music is a big part of my interests as well, and as long as it isn't death metal or most country, I'm happy to listen to it. I'd have to say that my favorite band of all time is Dispatch - I even went all the way to NYC last summer just to see them at Madison Square Garden.

My friends and family are the most important people in the world to me. I'm not one of those girls that forgets everyone once they're dating someone...made that mistake a long time ago, and will never do it again!

Long story short, I love meeting and talking with new people, so don't hesitate to give me a shout! :)

What really grinds my gears:

1. Don't ask me if I want to meet you the first email that you send. No, I don't want to meet you until I get to know you.

2. !!!! Exclamation marks !!!! Use minimally please.

3. No, I'm not going to meet up with you to hook up. I can go to the bar and pick up a dude just as easily...not my style. Also, if you're going to contact me to make lewd suggestions, don't. Again, not my style.

For work I manage a clothing boutique that my best friend owns. Well, clothing boutique/salon...but obviously I have nothing to do with the salon side. I'm doing a lot of theatre around town, and figuring out my priorities in life - friends, family, and education. I'm probably going to school in the winter for massage therapy and acupuncture. I give one mean back rub.

I love to make people laugh - it's one of my guilty pleasures.

I've heard from many people that my smile is what draws them in. In fact, an old friend of mine that I haven't seen in over 5 years recognized me because of my smile. This is good, because it's a rare day when I don't have one on my face.

DISPATCH!!!!!!!!!!, queen, O.A.R., phish, steve miller band, bob marley, weezer, led zepplin, the cure, fiona apple, paul simon, no doubt, jack johnson, jason mraz, dave matthews, snoop dog, csn, gorillaz, j5, bob dylan, britney spears, maroon 5, state radio, pete francis, ludacris ... pretty much everything besides country and death metal. oh and i have to give a shoutout to two of my favorite milwaukee based bands as well - elusive parallelograms and the lovelies!

Favorite TV Shows:
family guy, gossip girl (not even going to hide that), it's always sunny in philadelphia, tim and eric awesome show, seinfeld, the hills, simpsons, sex and the city, dead like me, futurama, aqua teen hunger force, the office, the sarah silverman program, and the soup.

now that i just have basic cable and no dvr, i miss all of these.

Favorite Movies:
superbad, 1400, the notebook, grandma's boy, beer fest, harold and kumar go to white castle, half baked, amityville horror (new one), dead poet's society, the shining, gladiator, 300, too many more to think of

Favorite Food:
i could eat at conejitos or la fuente every day of the week if given the chance. i'd also weigh about 3000 pounds if i did bc i love me some chips and salsa, enchiladas, and chicken mole. mmm

theatre. i love the stage, and would die slowly inside without my artistic outlet.

my cell phone (happens to be an iphone. aka adult gameboy)

my cat guinness. i'm not a cat lover by any means, but she's my little cuddle bug.
