When I am not trapped in a classroom learning about CHO metabolism (carbohydrates for non-science people)... I love doing things outdoors... like hiking, camping, exploring nature, gardening or just enjoying the amazing NC weather! I love trying new things and would love to meet someone who feels the same way. I also played college volleyball, so I guess that means I have some athletic ability (or that my height finally came in handy)!
A big hobby of mine is cooking. I love to cook everything from scratch and am a regular at the local farmers market. Not going to lie, I'm a pretty good cook. I make a mean New England clam chowder and anything that involves meat/seafood. I guess I am pretty good with vegetables as well!
Overall I would consider myself to be an insightful and motivated person. I am always trying to better myself and am usually quite positive and optimistic.
Okay other random tidbits about myself:
- I was a nutritionist for Dunkin' Donuts (domestic and international)
- I love the ocean and fishing. Plus I can drive a motor boat
- I am a total science nerd... anything science related fascinates me
- I am a Bostonian, so yes I do say "wicked" a lot. Though my Boston accent only comes out if I am "wicked" excited about something!
