My self-summary
To summarize myself, I would say I'm a mix of Zooey Deschanel's character in New Girl with a smidge of Sylvia Plath (sexy, huh?). I'm hopelessly silly and I have the physical coordination and grace of a newborn horse trying to take its first steps. I feel like a cartoon sometimes.

I am of the mindset that even with its downer moments, life is generally hilarious if you're willing to look at it that way. I like to make people laugh and have fun, even if it means looking like a freak. I might not show it at first, but I am a big sweetheart. It is important to me to be loyal, compassionate, and caring. I have been described as "a deep read." I'm pretty introverted (not in the shy way), so I go well with extroverted people who don't tire quickly when talking/interacting with other people. To quote Michael Scott, "Sometimes I'll start a sentence and I don't even know where it's going. I just hope I find it along the way."

I like to cook, do a lot of yoga, and space out. I have a pretty severe case of wanderlust.

If I could choose one person to emulate, it'd be Kristen Wiig.

I also want to hug every animal. Some are easier to embrace than others.

I've done/lived/experienced other cool things but what's the fun in giving that all away up front?
What I’m doing with my life
Currently I'm pursuing a PhD in Cellular and Molecular biology and hoping to become a writer of some sort.
I’m really good at
trivia, zipping through TSA, finding myself in strange situations that make good stories later
The first things people usually notice about me
Height, big eyes, wild gestures
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Shows: Friends, Frasier, Parks and Recreation, Mad Men, The Cosby Show, Community, New Girl, Colbert Report, Louie, The Office
Also I love stand up especially that by Louis CK, Aziz Ansari, Jim Gaffigan, (old) Dane Cook, and when the mood is right, Mitch Hedberg.

Food: I love it. I like all cuisines and will try anything once.

Music: synthy alternativey stuff, 80's music, whatever strikes my fancy
The six things I could never do without
1. Hedonism
2. Good cooking
3. Writing
4. Travel
5. Sense of humor

I spend a lot of time thinking about
my next meal, science, words and language, the concept of divinity/spirituality and the accompanying philosophies
On a typical Friday night I am
dancing in the corner of a dive bar to "Take On Me" or spending quality time with Netflix and a beer
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
One time I very sincerely fist-bumped a young man at a Wendy's drive-thru when he was only trying to give me change. He was confused. I was horrified. Hilarity ensued.
